Summary: The Disciple arrives and goes investigating.

[The Disciple awakes with a start, and panic sets in as she struggles to move for those first moments of being paralyzed. The moment she's free, she springs up and out of the bed in a flurry of sheets and hair. She stares around wildly, wondering if she's been captured despite her caution. In the next few minutes, she finds the letters and reads them, and then locates the chest and changes her clothing.

She slips out of the room cautiously and down the hallway, keeping herself pressed to the wall to keep as out of view as she can. But it's a little hard to hide when there's nothing in the halls to hide behind.]

[Signless had been a tiny bit worried, too, but in his opinion, Psiioniic needed the moirallegiance far too much for him to be tentative with Disciple's feelings. Besides, he had been pretty sure she would be happy for them.

He wraps his arms around both of them, content for the moment.]

I hope she does come. I'm tired of falling over all these wrigglers who look like her.

I'm so sorry, Psiioniic. I heard about what they did to you, and back home- Even if these conditions are less than favorable, I'm glad I'm able to see you both again.

[It isn't hard for her to come to the conclusion that they've needed each other, especially in a place like this. After hearing about the experiments, she's glad they had each other to rely on.]

[Wow, okay, this might just be the best thing ever. Being hugged by two of his closest friends. AND Di isn't mad at them. The only thing that would make it better would be Dolorosa's presence.]

Not jutht resemble her, Di. Her Descendant. Mine ith here too, and SS's, it's really weird. And multiple versionth of them, in some cases. [He smiles, and reaches out to touch her cheek] Back home... someone told me that you'd ethcaped, somehow. I was really glad.

Yeah, it's creepy as fuck. There are doubles of everyone running around all over the place, and half of them have the wrong blood colour or something. [He smiles and nudges Disciple] None of you, yet. But probably she'll show up with tyrian blood and love barkbeasts or something like that.

[She chooses not to talk about her escape, opting for the lighter subject at hand. There's plenty of time to talk about that later, once she'd pieced it together herself. She still wasn't sure why he had let her go, no matter how much mulled it over.

She scrunches her nose at the image.]

That would be nothing short of a nightmare! Barkbeasts, really! [Shoving him lightly. She's never liked those things.] Still, I'd love to meet these descendants. What are yours like?

[The idea of Disciple as the Empress makes Ψiioniic sputter and laugh.] I don't know. I think you'd make a pretty good Empress, Di. The Impawriel Clawdescension has a nice ring to it.

My Descendant is... pretty awesome, actually. He's got all my powers, but he's only six or seven, so he's never been a slave. I got a chance to warn him... so maybe he can avoid it.

I haven't gotten a chance to talk to Karkat much, but he seems a lot like me, but concentrated. He's short, stubby, and even angrier.

I think you're onto something, Psiioniic. I would be the pawsitively best Empurress for Alternia. [She laughs. It's so nice to talk to them like this, just like old times.]

I'd like to meet them. I wonder what my Descendant is like. Do you think they would know?

Probably. It's funny, but pretty much everyone who's ever been important to one of us is part of their group in some way. Even if the relationships are a little twisted sometimes. [He shivers a little despite himself.] My Descendant's kismesis is the Descendant of Orphaner Dualscar. And I'm pretty sure he's got something going with the Heir, too, which utterly breaks my brain.

[Signless nods, reaching out automatically to stroke Psiioniic's hair to soothe him when he shivers] Though there are quite a few whose ancestors we dont' know, like that Vriska. She told me her ancestor is named Mindfang. [He gives a helpless shrug] I also met a Mindfang, but she's no one I recognize.

Perhaps they were another generation from our own, much like our Descendants? Whatever the case may be, it's interesting that they all seem to be connected too. I'll have to ask these descendants of yours more about it. Perhaps I can try piecing together some of the history between our generations and record it.

Mindfang? [Ψiioniic is surprised and a little unsettled.] I know that name, though I never met her. She was a Gam8lignant Dualscar was chasing, I think. There was some gossip among his slaves that he might be considering her for a kismesis.

Hey, sounds like a good idea, Di. I'm sure a few people would be interested in reading a history like that. [He eyes Psi and frowns a bit] Dualscar has a kismesis?
