Floor 1 - Dining
[Kanaya is sitting in the cafeteria with a place of food in front of her, it is mostly untouched, well mostly uneaten, she has moved the food around the plate quite a few times. Every time she goes to take a bite she puts the fork down right before she does. She's thinking too hard to stop and eat. Kanaya may be noticeably uneasy.]

Floor 7 - Pool
[She removed her clothing and put on one of the bathing suits the tower provided even if she didn't plan on actually swimming. Instead she puts her feet in the water, occasionally kicking them to stir up the water a bit, but it doesn't look like she is going to go in anytime soon]

Floor 14 - Media room
[Kanaya is reading a book. Or she was reading the book at one point or another. If you've been watching for a while she hasn't turned the page in a really long time. In fact, she may have fallen asleep.]

Floor 15 - Work shop
[It's been a while since she's spent time in the workshop, she hopes that she can distract herself for a bit, to take her mind off of what has been troubling her. It may not go as she planned]

[When Vriska reaches the cafeteria and finds Kanaya, she's reminded of that dreadful day months ago. When she'd come down here to find her mutated. It's a memory she tries to forget, and she's done a good job of it until now. Call it deja vu or something.

She approaches her, leaning over her shoulder.]

What's got you so pre-occupied, Fussyfangs?

[She looks up at Vriska]

Oh... nothing really.

Reeeeeeeeally?

[She sits down next to her and snatches the fork to grab a bite. If Kanaya isn't going to eat it, someone should. ::::T]

[Kanaya lets her take the fork from her, she even pushes the plate towards her in favor of chewing on her lower lip]

Vriska. [she turns to her and stares for a few seconds] I'm worried.

[Vriska stops stuffing her mouth with ~~Kanaya's~~ her food to look back up at her.]

You're always worried about something. What is it this time?

In the time we've been here, sometime bad has happened, followed by something horrible, and with our latest event something bad. That leads me to believe that something horrible is going to happen soon. [and she's afraid, instinctively she wraps her arms around her stomach, remembering the phantom and why she's not eating]

[Oh... She sets the fork down and bites her lip for a second before speaking.]

I told you I would take care of you this time! Quit worrying so much. We just have to be ready for whatever this stupid place is going to throw at us.

[she attempts to smile at her] More than just I reside in this tower, there has to be something that can be done to prevent what is inevitably going to happen here. [with all your luck Vriska, there must be something you can do]

Fine, then we'll figure it out and do it! It's as easy as that. And muuuuuuuuch better than sitting around worry about shit that hasn't happened yet.

Do you have any suggestions about what could be done as preventative measures? [Vriska was pretty tactical, it couldn't hurt to ask her]

Unless we can find out where the people running this place are, there's pretty much nothing we can do except expect the worst and be ready for it. If we get caught off guard, we'll be pretty useless.

The tower is a tricky place, I feel as if no matter how prepared we are, or how prepared we think we are, that the tower will be a few steps ahead of us. It's very frustrating. The tower has already shown that it can control our emotions it could easily disarm us or make us feel as if nothing is wrong. We may be useless no matter what we do.

Don't be such a fucking pessimist, Fussyfangs! You're depressing to be around when you're like this.

[Don't talk to her in that tone, she'll be snippy in return] What do you suggest I do? Wait to be hurt again?

[Vriska doesn't take well to the snippiness either. She slams her hand down on the table and stands up, eyes narrowed.]

Why won't you trust me! I told you I would take care of you, so just stop!

I am strong Vriska, I don't always need protecting! You don't understand how dangerous it is here!

I've been here just as long as you have, Kanaya! Where do you get off saying that I don't understand it as well as you? I'm not the one who got experimented on here. You're the one who needs protecting.

It is because you were not experimented on that you do not fully understand! If I could have fought back than I would have, they have ways of immobilizing you. You're too headstrong to realize that you can be injured and I will not let you throw away your life even if you will be reborn the next day!

I'm god tier! I don't die. I won't die! I know how to take care of myself, which is obviously something you don't know how to do!

This tower is not part of of the game or the Veil, you do not know what kind of effects it has on your god tier powers. If you have yet to die that may be credited to your extreme luck, not your god tier powers. Your luck may run out eventually. It is also possible that it may not, and you may not die for one reason or another but there is nothing wrong with being careful. I have taken care of myself for very long and will continue to do something, it is no fault of mine that the tower decided I would be one to be experimented on, because if they chose you I believe you would not have had a chance.

I wouldn't have let them experiment on me. No way! And maybe you're forgetting, but I'm the Thief of Light. I have all the luck, whether it's mine or not. I don't need a lecture when I'm taking care of myself just fine!
