Floor 1 - Dining
[Kanaya is sitting in the cafeteria with a place of food in front of her, it is mostly untouched, well mostly uneaten, she has moved the food around the plate quite a few times. Every time she goes to take a bite she puts the fork down right before she does. She's thinking too hard to stop and eat. Kanaya may be noticeably uneasy.]

Floor 7 - Pool
[She removed her clothing and put on one of the bathing suits the tower provided even if she didn't plan on actually swimming. Instead she puts her feet in the water, occasionally kicking them to stir up the water a bit, but it doesn't look like she is going to go in anytime soon]

Floor 14 - Media room
[Kanaya is reading a book. Or she was reading the book at one point or another. If you've been watching for a while she hasn't turned the page in a really long time. In fact, she may have fallen asleep.]

Floor 15 - Work shop
[It's been a while since she's spent time in the workshop, she hopes that she can distract herself for a bit, to take her mind off of what has been troubling her. It may not go as she planned]

Why say things that you don't mean? [Oh no, she's going to have to decode everything Willow says? Or she's not going to believe anything she says. This suddenly got a lot more confusing]

Fascism is not something I am aware of, could you explain it? With a basic understanding I could tell you if Alternia is fascist, or was fascist as it is no longer there.

Humans have a thing where we like being witty. We think it makes us look cool, or something. But you can always ask me if I'm confusing? I don't mind! [Honestly, she gets that a lot. Willow is frequently confusing to other humans, much less other species.]

Fascism is a political system that entails one person having supreme, unchallenged power over everyone else, and anything that resists or threatens that status is pretty much squashed in the most ruthless way possible. It's very... violent. All about the needs of the society being put above the needs of the individual.

I can appreciate wit and occasionally snark, but I like to say what I mean. When I do use sarcasm I tend to point it out afterwards, I often get told that I shouldn't do that but I don't want to lead them astray.

[she nods] Yes, that is exactly how it was on Alternia. We have an Empress who will not hesitate to kill if she feels threatened or is just bored. She also has the power to kill every troll if she so desired. Unfortunately she is here.

I still mean it, it's just, not straight forward? You might try listening to the tone instead of the words themselves. That might help.

She's here? [Her eyes go a little wide.] Has she been... How violent is she? Any weaknesses I should know? [Willow can't help but immediately go into threat assessment mode.]

[she nods a bit] I will attempt to listen to tone to decide the truthfulness behind the words that are being spoken. I think that's something I can do.

Like I said, it's unfortunate but yes. I don't think she's killed many during her time here, but I don't know exactly how many. The fact she has yet to slaughter all of us in frustration for being here is a good sign. I don't know if she possess any weaknesses, we were lucky back on Alternia as she was not on the planet much, too busy conquering others.

You can totally get it, [she assures her confidently.] I have faith in you! And I'll also, you know, try not to be as incredibly confusing as it is possible to be.

Well, if she gives you any gruff, let me know. I know I don't look like much, but I've faced at least her equivalent of big and bad, if not worse. I can handle it, and I'm all about not letting people die for stupid reasons. Even if they come back.

I don't doubt your strength but you should not underestimate her. She is the Empress because of her blood color, yes, but she has the cruel personality perfect for tyranny. She won't hesitate to kill on sight, or get the Grand Highblood to do it for you.

[she sighs] Once the Empresses passes the next in line is Feferi, who is the complete opposite. She would have been a good ruler if our planet remained.

I don't want to be all, arrogant or toot my own horn, because that way lies the dark side... but I've faced off against some serious hell bitches before. I didn't always win, but I've always come out in one piece. So don't worry about me.

Is she here, too? Feferi? [Wait, wasn't that Eridan's moirail's name? This has to be a different Feferi.]

I hope that if you for some reason need to face off against her that you will remain in one piece.

Yes, Feferi is here. She is one of the aquatic trolls, with fins. [she holds her hands up to the side of her face to imitate fins] She is very passionate about what she believes.

I'll do my best. I wouldn't want to worry anyone... assuming anyone here would be worried. Which, I think they would, but assuming can get ugly.

Oh, like Eridan. --Though I think I know the Eridan that isn't yours, for the record. I'd like to meet her sometime.

Do you not know about the alternates here? There are often two of the same person here, for as long as I've been here there have never been more than two. I believe they come from different timelines or alternate universes. The Eridan I know has the second highest blood in the hemospectrum, but the one you are most likely referring to has the second lowest, his hemospectrum is flipped. Or perhaps it is mine that is flipped. We don't really know who is the alpha.

I've run into them a couple times, but I never got the company line about it. --Er, a real, coherent explanation, I mean.

It's funny that there's never more than two. Can the fabric of the universe not handle that much paradox or something? You'd think it'd be too much as it is, but... who knows.

Oh no, space can handle much more than that. When my friends and I were about to complete our game of Sgrub we had hundreds of Aradiabots from different points in our timelines. This place may be outside of any space we are familiar for. It may be that since there are people from so many different universes strains the fabric of the universe.

Hundreds of-- wait, Aradiabots? [Willow looks a little alarmed.] Why were there Aradiabots?

Tell me some creepy stalker vampire didn't have someone make a robot of her in order to have a fake girlfriend and then it got out of hand. [Cause one Buffybot was enough, no offense, Spike.]

It may be a bit of an odd story. Aradia died before the start of our game, but another of our group who is skilled in building robots built a bot that looked like Aradia. Her ghost merged with the robot to create Aradiabot who helped us during the game. She was also our time player so she could manipulate time and have Aradiabots from hundreds of points of her timeline congregate at one point. Without her it would have been a complete massacre. [well all those Aradiabots did die] A larger massacre.

Wow, that was pretty thorough for such a concise explanation. You're like a grade A expositor.

Anyway, I'm glad she's okay now. I bet robot Aradia was a little creepy -- my friend Buffy's robot was majorly wig worthy.

She was a bit creepy as a robot. Occasionally she would beep but that was a bit more normal than the ribbiting when she was a ghost.

I'm a rambler myself. Or, well, the technical term here is babble, I think, at least in my case. But you're in good company either way.
