come one, come all, those who are learning magic
Characters: Aqua, anyone who signed up for magic lessons here, anyone who might have heard about them and dropped by to learn/watch, or anyone who just stumbles upon things! (tl;dr: open)
Setting: Floor 20, whatever day/time is convenient for your character
Format: Starting prose, will gladly match!
Summary: If her life had gone the way it was supposed to, Aqua would have been a teacher for a living. So she's finally owning up to the title of Master, and teaching people how to use the magic she's come to know so well.
Warnings: Language (she's teaching trolls too), potential injury, and maybe things blowing up. Will edit as things occur.
She nudged the small bowl of water aside with her foot, to the right of the line-up of standing wooden targets she'd thrown together on the workshop level. Next to the standing decoys were lumps of cloth, tied into balls with string, to act as projectiles or airborne targets.
The conditions weren't ideal -- nothing like the training fields she had used to learn back home -- but Aqua had done her best to prepare for whatever people wanted to learn. Thunder might be cumbersome, with no way to aid in the creation of electricity just yet, but she had aides for most of the other elements.
So, with Master Keeper in hand, she waited patiently for her students to show up.

It didn't take long for him to find Aqua in the room; so, pointedly squashing the anxious voice in the back of his head, he approached the woman.

"Hello, Ienzo," she greeted kindly. "I'm glad you came."

Because of course he could not immediately believe that he was actually getting what he asked, for once. He'd left the decision up to Aqua for a reason, though; even if 'individual was preferred', there was still the possibility that she had some other plan, or... something.

Aqua shifted, setting her Keyblade down so that she could pick up one of her cloth targets and hold it underhand, her palm facing up. "I'm going to teach you Slow magic today, and we're going to use these as practice. But we have to cover the basics first, since you said you've never done magic before."
She let her hand fall to her side. "First, do you have a weapon that you're planning to use?" She figured he probably wasn't trained with anything, otherwise he wouldn't be coming to her. But he may have been planning to learn. "Magic generally needs a medium to be effectively used. Your hands can serve as the medium, but you run a larger risk of hurting yourself that way. It doesn't have to be a traditional weapon. Just an object that gives you a focus point for where to gather all the magical energy."
Screw it, I'm sure we can invest later on in a spellbook of some kind.
...Er. A weapon?
"Ah-- ...no. I'm sorry." Wow! Great thinking, Ienzo. Obviously magic could be easily learned without something to channel it through! Admittedly, Master Ansem had never really used anything when he used magic, but that probably required many long years of training to get to.

"Hey there." She raised a hand to motion Naminé closer. "It's alright. You don't have to worry; we're starting with defensive magic today."
She remembered that Naminé wanted to learn the healing magic as well as some status-based ones, but she needed living targets for those, and the only target that Aqua was willing to use was herself. She didn't mind getting hurt, but she wanted to wait until her students had basic grasps on magic before she let them perform it on her.

"If you feel up to it today, we could begin working with Stop or Slow too," added the mage, indicating the balled-up cloth targets resting in a pile on the floor. "It's alright if you don't, though. I'll work at your pace." Everyone learned differently, and there was the mental and emotional strain that could potentially come with it as well. Rushing wouldn't help anyone, if they weren't ready for it.

Taiki looked around for the woman that had said she would teach him magic, he wanted to learn to heal, even though that would mean going near injured people, it wasn't something he had managed to avoid anyways so he would like to be able to help.
He stood awkwardly waiting.

"Hello." She turned to face him completely, scooting aside one of the wooden decoys to better get a look at the boy. "What's your name?"

Don't worry, I couldn't start without you, so you can't really be late. [She smiles.] And your name is?

"Hello," started the mage politely. "You're here for magic lessons, right? What's your name?"
Images or descriptions would have been a good thing to put on those forms. Well, she could work it out.

The honorific he used would be a hint to who he was, before he introduced himself just then.
Sorry for taking so long to get to this! ffff

I'm Eridan Ampora. I'm here to begin my instruction in the magical arts.
