Summary: Feferi woke up and THIS IS A NEW PLACE NOT THE MEDIUM. :|a
Warnings: Nothing at the moment!

[Wherever you might be in the tower, there is now a Feferi poking her head into rooms. Feferi had woken up not too long ago, and after exploring the room and discovering both her dice and her beloved pirate outfit? SHE'S EXPLORING and the best way to do that is to shove your head into other rooms right??

At least, she thinks it's a good idea. Even if she doesn't know what she'll find. She's pretty sure she can take whatever's there!]

[Willow is currently spread out with some books at a table on floor eighteen, the study hall level. She's not too far from the stairs, because she keeps going up a floor to the research library to bring huge, hefty, and sometimes moldy tomes back down.

She has a slight frown on her face and furrowed brows. It's not going well, and she keeps... hearing things, which she's honestly a little freaked out by after her experience in the tower forest. When Feferi calls out, she glances up, relieved for the interruption.]

I'm here, [she says back cheerily, decisively closing the massive book she'd been reading.] Were you looking for something?

[Oh, someone answered!

... But gosh she sure isn't a troll. FEFERI NEVER SAW THIS STUFF IN THE CLOUDS...]

I was looking for another troll! You don't seem to be that, though.

Nope, all human here. And... just me on the floor, I think, so really all human. [Willow gives her a friendly, reassuring smile.]

But I can't seem to go a day without running into one of you, so I think if you hold out you should find someone, no problem.

That's what you are??

[Wow this is weird and unexpected, and the pink skin looks so weird but it's a cool weird.]

I've never met a human before! I haven't heard of them before either.

[Willow's had years of meeting all kinds of other demon species, and one memorable incident with an alien before this, so overall the bloom has already gone off the rose for her. But she remembers and understands being excited about it.]

Really? Most of the other trolls I've met seem to at least know about us. But I'll get you up to speed if you need it on anything.

Nope, I've never heard anything or seen anything about humans before!

[Hmm...]

Are there a lot of humans here??

More humans than trolls, [she confirms.] You must be new, huh? Want to come have a seat and I'll explain things?

[She doesn't need to be asked twice! So now, Feferi is bouncing her way to a chair and sitting down.]

I already know what was said in the note! Is there anything else I should know?

[Willow grins at the easy acceptance and piles some books out of the way so they have an unobstructed view of each other.]

I think the first thing is that there's a lot of different kinds of people here. Not just trolls and humans, but other species, and even people that you know from home that are from different versions of your world. There's a lot of interdimensional hijinks.

Also, my name is Willow.

[feferi's always been pretty easily accepting of others-- minus sollux, of course, but that was only because her and the rest of the trolls thought that sollux was tav's imaginary friend.]

Hahaha, that is so exciting! I never saw any of this in the clouds, so this is all pretty cool to me.

--Oh yeah, by the way, my name is Feferi!

Why would you see anything in the clouds? [she asks curiously, and then her brain finally catches up.] Wait, Feferi like Eridan's Feferi?

Oh, no, you're obviously not a sea dweller, so... um, sorry. I know a different Eridan than the one you're familiar with. [Darn, and she'd gotten all excited there for a second. Willow really wanted to meet his moirail; she seemed so important to him.]

I was the prophet for my game session! [Although-- when that's brought up.] How would Eridan be different than he is? Unless he's trying out some sort of disguise!

[Poor Fef is about to have this conversation twice. Welp.

Willow's going to infer that being a prophet of any kind means that she's telling the future in the clouds, and let the topic drop so she can explain.] No, no disguises. Remember how I said you might find people here from home that aren't the ones you know? This is example A.

He's a sea dweller, and he mentioned that his moirail is, too, and that her name was Fef. I'm just guessing that's you from a different version of things.

Nope, my Eridan isn't my moirail! He's just a really good friend. He didn't need me to be his moirail.

[Not that she would be, anyway. She has more fun laughing at Eridan's relationship pain than anything else.

She's honestly just... rolling with this. It's interesting and exciting and fun and-- a lot of other cool things, not that she knows what the tower actually does yet. And at least she gets to hear the conversation from one of the actual trolls involved, too.]

Oh. Well, it's nice to meet you anyway. As far as kidnapping goes, this is the most pleasant the experience has ever been for me. It's not really too bad here, aside from the being separated from your friends and family part.

It does seem sort of nice, here! It seems like it might get kind of boring if you are used to more exciting things, though.

Oh no, plenty of excitement. There's nightmare illusions and voices of dead people and weird creepy drones that won't talk to you.

You'll be excited.

[It can't be.

Even if it's a Feferi, it can't be his Feferi. Except that one of them is his Sollux, so it's possible, and even as he skids around the corner to see who's calling, his eyes are a little blurred with the memory of her body hanging like so much meat from the Punishment Gibbet and her Tyrian blood dripping down, down.

And so he's got tears in his purple eyes as he looks at the girl, but even though he's a good eight sweeps, he sounds like a lost wriggler as he speaks.]

...Fef?

--Eridan! You're here!

[But he doesn't really look like her Eridan, who had teal blood.

... And he's older and has purple eyes and stuff.]

When did you get older?

[For a second, his fins rise with hope, but as she turns, he isn't just disappointed, he's devastated.

She's not just not his Feferi. She doesn't even have fins. From her symbol, she's a fucking blue.

But her horns are the same, and she recognizes him. It's definitely Feferi. Just some weird Feferi, probably from that same world as that crimson-blooded Kanaya, and his eyes fall to the floor.]

Happens evvery swweep or so. Guess you'll be wwantin' a tour or somefin. [He winces. No more fish puns] You just get here?

Well, duh. I knew that! [But she can't help but laugh, anyway. It's a bit more like a cackle than the normal Feferi.] Is there a lot to see here??

[Wait.]

Eridan, why do you have fins and why are you wearing purple? Are you in disguise?

[He misses her laugh already. He swallows the lump in his wind tube and is glad that the tears are all but gone already, so he doesn't have to try to figure out how to wipe them off without looking like a tool.]

No, I'm not in fuckin' disguise. I'm a sea dwwellin' troll, an' on my vversion a Alternia, you're a sea dwweller, too. You'll get used to people havvin' the wwrong blood or wweird other differences that are less obvvious, because there's at least two vversions a me here an' my ancestor, too, and other people are duplicated also.

[He pauses, uncertain] So you knoww me, uh, some land dwweller vversion a me, I'm guessin'. You mind me askin' wwhat I am to you?

[Huh. Well, in any case, that's pretty cool! She likes the surprise, since she's the one that got all the Prospit visions and always saw everything anyway. It's been a long time since her last surprise.]

For me, you're supposed to be teal! That's not a big deal, though.

Teal. [He grimaces at that idea. Not even a good colour. He'd have been content with gold, like Sollux. Or maybe bronze. He didn't ask for a lot][Lip chew] So wwe're not moirails or anyfin?

[Oh come on, Eridan. Teal is totally a great color!] Sorry! We are only really good friends and FLARP partners. Were we moirails where you're from?

[No, it's horrible and this is horrible and weh.]

He lifts a hand and gives the base of one horn a rub, then snatches it back down, cursing inwardly. None of that pathetic bullshit, now]
