#001 [open]
Characters: AU Vriska and the people who meet her (aka open)
Setting: Dorm 1-13 / Cafeteria / Exploring
Format: Starts action, but will follow
Summary: The tower has another new cerulean blood and she's not happy about it. Note: please specify if you're meeting her in/by her dorm, in the cafeteria or roaming the tower (in which case you get to pick where)
Warnings: Rage and swearing. Violence likely if provoked.
Dorm 1-13
[Anyone who happens to be passing - or to be inside - Dorm 1-13 when Vriska awakes will be treated to a loud, angry scream as she waits rather impatiently for the sleep paralysis to wear off. When she can finally move, there's more swearing as she takes in the unflattering outfit she's wearing. Soon, she'll notice the chest and change into something more appropriate. And it's then she notices the collar - in green, of all colours! Feel free to run into her either in the room or just as she's leaving it.]
Cafeteria
[This is actually Vriska's second visit to the cafeteria. Her last visit ended in the need to throw up so she's back, scowling as she eats some oatmeal and periodically tugging at the collar that just refuses to come off. There's no-one else at her table, though, if you dare approach]
Exploring the Tower
[Once fed, Vriska starts to roam the tower, on the hunt for anyone who can explain what's going on - whether this is a ploy to pull the blue-bloods into line or if something more unusual is afoot. She'll be taking in most of the floors at least in passing, her trusty cutlass in hand, so feel free to run into her anywhere]

[Olette's sure they'll be ~great friends~!]
But what Vriska was holding certainly looked sharp enough to do some damage. And come to think of it, Vriska's appearance ... did sort of look more like something threatening than someone she'd just see in Twilight Town.]
I'm ... a human...? What are you? Where are we?
[That may not be much less dangerous for her...]
Human? Never heard of them. As to where we are, I was just about to try and find out when I was interrupted.
[She tugs a little at the collar, not really fighting it yet but still obviously disgruntled by it]
[You say that like anything in this tower isn't dangerous...]
[Olette's expression was bemused - how could someone have never heard of humans? Maybe she came from a world where they didn't exist... but then, what was she?]
Wait, that's not the point here. Can I come with you?
[Whether or not Vriska was going to say yes, Olette was already looking through her trunk for her clothes so she could get changed.]
[True. It's just most of the things in the tower aren't meant to be on Olette's side...]
[She's swapped hands with the collar now, hoping that perhaps her robotic arm might be more help and failing just as miserably in removing the blasted thing.
...Odd, the human-creature's collar's a different colour. A colour that's marginally less offensive to Vriska. Could it possibly be that Tavros was involved somehow? It seemed too underhanded to be his work but then they had been close friends for several sweeps.
It's perhaps because of that she finds herself a little more willing to wait than she might normally be]
Fine, but hurry it up will you? I'm not going to find anything out in here.
[Eh, she's cool with it as long as none of them eat her heart.]
[She quickly moved to change into her usual clothes, relaxing a little at their familiarity. Maybe it was weird that clothes could make her feel better, but darn if it hadn't been strange to be wearing that white ... thing.]
I'm ready. Don't worry, I can keep up! Let's go check this place out!
[Nope. No eaten hearts at least from this one]
[She's already at the door when Olette declares she's ready; she walks out of the room expecting that the human will follow and not really caring if she doesn't]
[So it could definitely be worse!]
As she followed her out, she vaguely wondered what it was she'd gotten herself into by waking up today.
Hm... maybe it was all just a dream. She always had weird dreams after hearing about Sora's adventures. Her imagination did sometimes tend to get a little overactive when it came to imagining what else was out there, now that she knew there were other things out there.]
...this place is strange.
[Oh yes]
Are you always this good at stating the obvious?
[Her tone is less angry this time, more bored, distracted as she tries to find a way to go. Fuck this place, wherever it is]
[idk what to put here now but leaving it blank feels wrong...]
[empty brackets are sad brackets]
Okay, I get that this is a weird building and I get that last I checked there aren't any humans on Alternia...but where the hell are we if not at home?
[very very sad brackets :c ]
[Logic is one of Olette's strong points. One of her only strong points, considering how many people from her 'verse are fighting machines.]
...what's Alternia like?
[GAH I MEANT TO USE THIS ICON]
[and lonely. And boo icon misfires!]
Twilight Town? What sort of lameass names somewhere Twilight Town?
[She shakes her head and begins to walk again. She has to admit the logic is sound, but that doesn't mean she has to do so out loud]
The sort of fucked-up place where randomly abducting and enslaving rogue violent-bloods would make perfect sense if this seemed like an Alternian hive and you weren't a human. Whatever that actually means.
[now i'm using this icon on purpose]
[Olette put her hands on her hips and glared, just a little - but unfortunately, she was a little too slow, because she found that she was glaring at Vriska's back. With a small sigh, she started walking.]
... I'm not really sure what a violent-blood or an Alternian hive is, but I'm just going to take that to mean your world isn't very pleasant. [She has to stop herself from asking if it's plagued by the creatures she heard about from Sora, and Kairi, and all the other visitors to her world...]
[yay! Which just makes me think I need more icon space for Vriska]
[Unless they were wrong and they were in Twilight Town, in which case the place could suck it up and accept its lameness.
At the comment on her own world, however, Vriska pauses her stride to glance back]
Well, I suppose that depends on your definition of pleasant.
[get more icons get ALL THE ICONS /bricked]
[It'll happen. Eventually xD]
[Hoorah!]
[A world where that was a title for someone who was apparently a ruler didn't sound pleasant, either!]
...either way, um, I guess I wouldn't know because I've never been there but it doesn't really sound very nice.
[Indeed!]
Bitchiness, Luminescence, whatever. Point is, she's been itching for a shot at me for a while now, I just know it, and this seems like her kind of underhanded, round-about way of getting things done.
But again, we come back to there being someone who isn't a troll, a lusus or any kind of creature I've come across before.
[
[She was stating the obvious again, but she wasn't really sure what else she could say. Anything else she could think of sounded sort of shallow, considering she really didn't know anything of Vriska's world or backgound...]
...troll? Lusus? ...What kind of creatures have you come across?
[But just because she didn't know, didn't mean she couldn't try to learn.]
no subject
[Obvious to her at least, that being her own species.]
Anyway, it's not really relevant right now because for all we know, we're the only two here and then we're really screwed...unless there's something you're not telling me?
[Sure, accuse the alien creature of being a plant, that's sound logic there]
gah sorry i'm late
[Olette's voice trails off and she considers what Vriska has said so far. Oh...]
So you're a troll-- huh?
[Her brows furrow a little at Vriska's question.]
I'm just as clueless as you are, here. ..oh, but I never told you my name, did I? I'm Olette.
No worries <3
[She rolls her eye, shaking her head a little - like that even needed to be a question]
That's nice. So where do you suggest we start?
[Yeah, Vriska's not one for volunteering information if she doesn't see a purpose]
no subject
[Sigh.]
You could start by giving me your name! That way I could call you something other than "hey you."
no subject
Vriska Serket. Now, unless you have an actually helpful suggestion I'm taking us this way.
