#001 [open]

Characters: AU Vriska and the people who meet her (aka open)
Setting: Dorm 1-13 / Cafeteria / Exploring
Format: Starts action, but will follow
Summary: The tower has another new cerulean blood and she's not happy about it. Note: please specify if you're meeting her in/by her dorm, in the cafeteria or roaming the tower (in which case you get to pick where)
Warnings: Rage and swearing. Violence likely if provoked.

Dorm 1-13
[Anyone who happens to be passing - or to be inside - Dorm 1-13 when Vriska awakes will be treated to a loud, angry scream as she waits rather impatiently for the sleep paralysis to wear off. When she can finally move, there's more swearing as she takes in the unflattering outfit she's wearing. Soon, she'll notice the chest and change into something more appropriate. And it's then she notices the collar - in green, of all colours! Feel free to run into her either in the room or just as she's leaving it.]

Cafeteria
[This is actually Vriska's second visit to the cafeteria. Her last visit ended in the need to throw up so she's back, scowling as she eats some oatmeal and periodically tugging at the collar that just refuses to come off. There's no-one else at her table, though, if you dare approach]

Exploring the Tower
[Once fed, Vriska starts to roam the tower, on the hunt for anyone who can explain what's going on - whether this is a ploy to pull the blue-bloods into line or if something more unusual is afoot. She'll be taking in most of the floors at least in passing, her trusty cutlass in hand, so feel free to run into her anywhere]

I'm not saying you're safe. That'd be stupid-- no one's ever really safe. [Got a little cynical there.]

I'm just saying, maybe... it might not be so bad.
guiltapalooza: (☆ you asked for the witticism)

We don't. Just think of us as exceptions.

And hey, unlikely as it is, I'll keep my fingers crossed that things are better here for you than at home, at least in this respect. No one's pushing drugs on you, anyway. [Unless that's what's in their collars... welp.]
guiltapalooza: (☆ chill. really.)

That was the tower people, not the... highbloods, though. [She seems very reluctant about using that word, but gives in for expediency's sake.] I think they just have a very, very awful sense of humor about what they leave people.

--No, humans all have the same blood color. Bright red, though actually it's blue in our veins, the oxygen just makes it red when it hits the atmosphere. [I hope you wanted some science-related babble there.] When we get prejudiced it tends to be about skin color, which can be anything from the pinkish I am to a dark brown. We're a lot less rainbow-y on the whole.

What other stuff and why would it be the same color as my blood?

[Oops, they're confusing each other. But there's a fast way to explain the first part of this confusion, and Willow pushes up her sleeve and holds out her arm expectantly.] Here, look. Some of it looks blue. I don't remember the exact explanation why-- I didn't take biology.
guiltapalooza: (☆ listening only)

Oh! Yeah, I have seen that. But that doesn't turn out, um, our blood color. Actually our eye color has nothing to do with our blood color. See? Mine are greenish.

There's something satisfying about being so thoroughly unclassable on the hemospectrum, to be frank.
guiltapalooza: (☆ buffy → my opinion)

Some of us more than others, [she says, even though she knows that Vriska can't possibly get the joke.]

So before I forget, I want to warn you. [Her expression suddenly turns serious, frowning.] There's one troll in particular you should look out for, named the Grand Highblood. I think he's... a subbjuggle-something? I don't remember the word. But he murders people right and left, just for looking at him wrong.

He's been the biggest problem here that I've run into.

... Yeah, that's not really a prohibiting factor around here.

And if you die while you're here, you just come right back. It's like the endless carousel of returning enemies.

Good for you, I guess. I just wanted to make sure you knew to look out.
guiltapalooza: (☆ not exactly as planned)

[personal profile] guiltapalooza 2012-02-15 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
... Uh, right. You do that. [Willow really doesn't want to know. If she doesn't know, it's not her responsibility.]

Did you have anything else you wanted to ask me?
guiltapalooza: (☆ I have hot chocolate?)

[personal profile] guiltapalooza 2012-02-16 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I... don't think so?

[Getting up from her seat.] So I guess I should release you from enforced social interaction now?
guiltapalooza: (☆ you asked for the witticism)

You do. Really.

So I'll see you later!
