[When the Handmaid doesn't feel like thinking, she defaults to what's expected of her: That is, violence. So she's been roaming the Tower the past few days, fighting whatever monsters (or residents) she comes across. Of course, immortal doesn't mean invulnerable, so she's retreated to the spring room, which seems to be the most consistently peaceful floor, to patch herself up. The grass around her is littered with bandages, but the gash on her arm requires stitches, and she's doing a pretty sloppy job of sewing herself up. Whatever. It'll do, right? It's not like she can bleed out.]

[Aradia sits a little way from her. She's not sure why she's so eager to get to know her ancestor - trolls aren't built to do families in the same way humans are - but she just can't help but feel concerned for the one relative she does have]

[She tosses her bandages to the side. She miiight be a bit biased towards her descendant, judging by the way she's not telling Aradia to beat it.]

I ran into a monster.

[Okay, technically she went looking for it but whatever whatever!!!]

Not so hard to do around here these days. It's like when they got rid of whatever was pulling them all in, they left some of them behind.

[Not that she's sure who this "they" are]

Still, I'm sure the monster's in a much worse state.

[That gets the slightest of smirks out of her. but she doesn't respond.]
