[Somehow, Karkat had yet to visit this floor. He was entirely engrossed in the occasional dying star, though it hit a little too close to home for his liking. Even still, it was almost therapeutic.

He's not really paying attention to anything but the hologram, and he's a little too fidgety to stand in one spot. Anyone peering in from the outside could easily catch him form moving deeper into the room.

His hands are occupied with an unidentifiable bone -- no doubt left over from Spidermom's last meal. He wasn't quite sure why he still had it. Probably as some sort of morbid reminder that she didn't need to be tended to for a few days.]

[That triggers him. He finally throws his hands up and starts snarling defensively at the top of his lungs, lashing out to backhand Sollux.]

How I feel is none of your fucking business!!

[Woah, he was getting upset, but he wasn't actually expecting Karkat to lash out that abruptly. The backhand catches Sollux hard and he staggers back, clutching at his jaw]

You do feel guilty. Fucking athhhole! Why would you do it in the firtht plathe, then?

[Have a red and blue spark lashing out, hard enough to knock you back, Karkat]

[He flinches and staggers when he's attacked, but he's been hit, kicked, killed and punched so many times this past month that he's slowly getting used to it.

There's a brief wheeze of fury, spidery fangs baring.]

You can fuck right off, Captor.

Fine. Fuck, I can't believe I fucking defended you. That I wath trying to help you.

[He turns away, teeth still bared with anger, and starts stalking back towards the stairs]

[--woah what? He follows after him slowly, curiosity stringing him along. Ugh, why was this happening, nobody was supposed to catch on--]

What the fuck are you even talking about?

[Why are you even talking to him? Sollux shoots Karkat a glare over his shoulder and keeps walking]

I thought you probably were jutht awkward, that you couldn't be jutht thtringing her along and that you probably really did like her. I told TZ that!

[You can't say shit like that and just expect to walk away from him. After he gets his answer, he stops walking and puts his hands on his hips.]

Why the fuck would you tell her that?

[Sarcastic. Ugh, this conversation is obviously not finished and he turns back to face Karkat again] I don't know, becauthe I thought maybe you had thome bathic dethenthy. And becauthe I don't thee why anyone wouldn't want TZ. She'th got a lot going for her.

[He was going to agree, but he hesitates, mostly because he has a feeling that it won't help his case.]

Whatever. You were obviously wrong.

[He shrugs, because he's not letting Sollux have the last word as he turns around.]

[Coldly] Yeah, obviouthly. [And as he turns away again, he sags a bit]
