The logical conclusion
Characters: One extremely sleepy Equius Zahhak and YOU.
Setting: Anywhere and everywhere.
Format: Either.
Summary: After being killed by the Grand Highblood, who just so happens to be his roommate, Equius has decided to simply stop sleeping in his room altogether. I think we all know what happens next.
Warnings: None.
[The premise of this thread is very simple: you have entered a room, and there's Equius, sleeping somewhere he shouldn't be.]
[Okay. So, this is basically the worst decision he could have possibly made. A few days after he respawned, Equius simply decided that he could get along with sleeping in the cafeteria instead of in his dormitory room like a good woolbeast. Unfortunately, as anyone familiar with the Tower could explain, any sleep you get outside of the dorms will do nothing to rest you. So basically, he's been trying to go about daily Tower business, but he's apparently fallen asleep in some... really unfortunate places. Under a cafeteria table, in the center aisle of the cathedral, right on the stairs. The bags under his eyes and general pallor of his face suggest that he hasn't slept in a while, of course.]
[Can someone tell this kid that he is a serious fire hazard?]

Cafeteria
Minato looks under the table and see the guy sleeping there.]
...Excuse me?

[Fortunately, Equius here is a light sleeper, so just by talking to him Minato was woken him up. He picks his head up to stare at the blue-haired human, glasses glinting.] What?
no subject
[There are far more comfier places to take a nap on.]
no subject
[He looks at Minato, then down at the floor, then back at Minato.]
...I'm not sure.
no subject
[What other reason could it be?]

...
Ew!
[And then he seems to notice all of the dust lying around him, stuck to his skin and clothing. He quickly backpedals out from under the table, jumps to his feet, and frantically attempts to get it all off.] Ew. Ew. Oh god, ew.
no subject
[He could get you something, like a towel or a napkin.]
no subject
[It seems to have died down by now, as he's now just clearing his throat as if that negates the miniature freakout he'd engaged in a few seconds ago.]
no subject
[Far comfier and warmer there, man.]

What he wasn't expecting to find was Equius looking very ill slumped on the stairs.] Equius?

[It, yeah, it takes a moment for him to realize that the arm Shion is holding out is for inviting him up. (It doesn't happen often, okay.) He's not quite so prideful as to refuse.]

she recaptchas the violin and approaches the piano, nudging at the prone figure with a foot]
That's not the right way to play that, you know.

Maybe next time you can get really cozy and stick your head in a drum kit. I hear that works wonders for the REM cycle.

Hey, I'd be the first person to agree with you that the dorms are shit, but I'm pretty sure some douchebag told me when I first got here that sleeping anywhere else drives you crazy.
