Summary: Zett is bored, and being annoying on various floors.
Warnings: None so far.

[Floor 95]
[Fighting monsters is great and all, but sometimes you want the satisfaction of defeating someone who can curse their loss.

With brightly colored balls.

Until someone appears to be pummeled by Zett's superior speed and stamina, Zett is just bouncing on one of the trampolines, mumbling to himself.] Bounce... bounce...

[Floor 67]
I don't get it. What's the point of a room that's too hot?

[After entering one of the sauna rooms and immediately busting back out again owww, Zett is just sitting on the floor in front of the lockers, looking confused.]

[Floor 62]
[Makai is fairly dry, which is why Zett has his boots in his hands and is dipping his feet into the ocean. It's a nice change from the pool he spends a lot of his time at, and he hasn't noticed any mermaids on this floor. Waterfalls are not worth it.

If he spots anyone who isn't merely passing by on the staircase, but actually staying on the floor, he'll call out to them.] Oiiii. Come over here, this water's great!

[Floor 28]
[Zett was never taught how to play an instrument. Like many people who do not know how to play instruments, he has an uncanny ability to gravitate to the ones that will sound the worst when he plays them. Today he's chosen the electric guitar.

Tell him to quit that racket?]

[Floor 11]
[In one of his winged forms, Zett can be found trying to get liftoff. As no flight works on this floor, his wings flap pathetically before he lands again.]

Come on, stupid things...

[He'll be at it for ages.]

Floor 95

[Romeo had been a little confused when he had first seen this floor, not sure what a room full of balls was for. But a little bit of exploration and his instincts as a child had kicked in- even if he was a child from a time before anything like this had ever been imagined.

So it had become one of his favorite floors. And as he bounced along the trampolines he spotted his roommate. He waved with a grin] Hello mister Zett!

[Well it's a problem if he's spotted first. Zett hides a ball behind his back and smiles back.] You don't have to call me 'mister', y'know.

[He wasn't that much older than Romeo in demon terms.]

[myblueskies]

[Romeo grinned and nodded, used by now to adults telling him just to call them by their names.

He bounced closer] Do you like this floor too? It's fun isn't it!

[Don't call him an adult, that makes him feel old.]

It's a lot of fun. I like getting people with balls when they least expect it.

[myblueskies]

[Romeo grins] A ball fight! That sounds fun!

[scentofmakai]

[That's about the time Romeo gets a ball thrown at him.]

[Hey not fair! You're meant to declare ball fights you know! He bounces into the nearest ball pit to grab an armful of balls to throw back]

[Zett bounces in as well for more ammo!!]

[myblueskies]

[Romeo giggles and starts throwing the balls as fast as he can]

[Likewise! Zett is pretty fast.]

[Romeo ducks down under the balls, wriggling towards Zett before bursting up with more missiles]

[Shots blocked by balls! He even throws a ball at an incoming ball of Romeo's and knocks it out of the air.]

[myblueskies]

[Wow clever! Romeo tries to copy that. Romeo doesn't have the coordination to copy that. But he tries really hard.]

You've almost got it. You just need to aim more at where you think the ball's gonna be, instead of where the ball is when you throw it.

Where I think it's going to be? [He tries again, missing once more]

Yeah, cause it takes time for the ball to travel. It's the same with any projectile.

[myblueskies]

What's a projectile? [Romeo looks at the ball] And how do I know where it's going?

[scentofmakai]

A projectile is anything that goes through the air. Like an arrow or a bullet. [Zett tosses one ball up and catches it in his hand.] And that's the hardest part. You've gotta have really quick reflexes to knock something out of the air.

[myblueskies]

Or a bird? Projectile's things that go through air. Romeo grinned.] You're really good at it though!

Birds are different. It's more like things that you throw or shoot, that don't have their own power to move. If you throw a ball, it'll come down eventually. [He throws the ball a long distance, and it does indeed hit the floor of balls eventually.] And you'll know where the ball's going to land, too, because it obeys rules for that. But a bird can go anywhere it wants to until it gets tired.

Oh okay. [He nodded, because that was right, balls did come down even if you threw them really high.] What do you mean they obey rules? Balls can't think!

Ever heard 'what goes up must come down'? That's a rule, isn't it?

[myblueskies]

I guess it's a rule... [He never thought of it before]

[scentofmakai]

All the rules that objects obey are called 'physics'. Like how if you throw a ball harder it goes farther than if you threw it gently. That's physics too.

[myblueskies]

Physics... [It's obvious with the way he says it that it's a new word] But how do they know what rules to follow?
