1st Spell: Arrival
Characters: Zoe Gallais & OPEN
Setting: Room 1-03, Floor 1, Floor 71, Floor 13
Format: Brackets to start with, but I can match you
Summary: One brat mage arrives in the tower and she isn't happy.
Warnings: Zoe is an ass, and right now she doesn't plan to be particularly friendly. Also permissions page.
[Room 1-03]
[The first thing Zoe does after reading the letter is to tear it up into little pieces and then throw the pieces away. She is worried about this situation, but she isn't going to show it or even act like she's worried.
So she focuses on what she needs to do next, which is change. So she'll be rifling through the trunk at the end of her bed, grabbing her amulet first of all, before looking over what out fit she wants to wear. And yes, that is a lance and short sword sitting by her feet, but luckily she knows how to use them.]
[Floor 1]
[So, after hearing about how she has to eat the oatmeal first, Zoe eventually wanders down to the cafeteria. And while she isn't as fussy as she used to be, the bowl of oatmeal is getting a look of disgust from the white-haired woman.
Combine that with how she's poking at it with her spoon and is grumbling sourly to herself, and she comes across as a really grumpy and irritated lady.]
[Floor 71]
What the-?! [The first thing Zoe does when she gets to this floor is stumble back, wincing at the squishing sounds her boots make on the stairs. She has to go down, but this floor is just making her stomach turn, and she covers her mouth with her hand as she looks around. This seems more like something a demon would create, but so much worse, and that just unnerves her even more than before.]
What sort of magic is this...?
[Floor 13]
[One thing the Cherubim had told her is that he would send her advice if she needed it if she prayed at a church. She had dismissed this, promising that she would never do that, but now... Maybe it's just reassurance from something familiar she needed, even though she hated the Cherubim, but she had no idea what to do in this weird place with powers she still doesn't understand.
But of course when she does need the advice, she hears nothing, and it's enough to make her laugh bitterly from where she's sitting on a pew, hands clasped and head bowed.]
… Guess I shouldn't be surprised...

[A soft chuckle from behind her, on the stairs.] As long as the flesh is not cut into, it is harmless.

Sorry Nessiah, the 'fallen angel' pings she's getting are making her nervous. Fallen angels back home were never good news for anyone.] ... What would happen if it is cut into?
no subject
[Oh, he doesn't mind making you nervous.]

[No fair >:. But still, Zoe doesn't back up anymore.] But is there anything else I should be worried about besides the monsters and acid spitting flesh?

Well, I am certain I will be able to fight most monsters I come across, either way.

I see... I wonder how quickly your opinion will change.
no subject
I tend to be very stubborn, so that may not happen for a while.

... There is one thing I want to know, though. Would any... changes occur after death, or do you come back the same?

... Zoe sighs in relief, giving him a nod.] Okay, thank you. That is a great relief to know.

... I apologize for my forwardness, but you are not human, are you?

I can sense it. And, well, my soul certainly isn't, I can not deny that.
