1st Spell: Arrival
Characters: Zoe Gallais & OPEN
Setting: Room 1-03, Floor 1, Floor 71, Floor 13
Format: Brackets to start with, but I can match you
Summary: One brat mage arrives in the tower and she isn't happy.
Warnings: Zoe is an ass, and right now she doesn't plan to be particularly friendly. Also permissions page.
[Room 1-03]
[The first thing Zoe does after reading the letter is to tear it up into little pieces and then throw the pieces away. She is worried about this situation, but she isn't going to show it or even act like she's worried.
So she focuses on what she needs to do next, which is change. So she'll be rifling through the trunk at the end of her bed, grabbing her amulet first of all, before looking over what out fit she wants to wear. And yes, that is a lance and short sword sitting by her feet, but luckily she knows how to use them.]
[Floor 1]
[So, after hearing about how she has to eat the oatmeal first, Zoe eventually wanders down to the cafeteria. And while she isn't as fussy as she used to be, the bowl of oatmeal is getting a look of disgust from the white-haired woman.
Combine that with how she's poking at it with her spoon and is grumbling sourly to herself, and she comes across as a really grumpy and irritated lady.]
[Floor 71]
What the-?! [The first thing Zoe does when she gets to this floor is stumble back, wincing at the squishing sounds her boots make on the stairs. She has to go down, but this floor is just making her stomach turn, and she covers her mouth with her hand as she looks around. This seems more like something a demon would create, but so much worse, and that just unnerves her even more than before.]
What sort of magic is this...?
[Floor 13]
[One thing the Cherubim had told her is that he would send her advice if she needed it if she prayed at a church. She had dismissed this, promising that she would never do that, but now... Maybe it's just reassurance from something familiar she needed, even though she hated the Cherubim, but she had no idea what to do in this weird place with powers she still doesn't understand.
But of course when she does need the advice, she hears nothing, and it's enough to make her laugh bitterly from where she's sitting on a pew, hands clasped and head bowed.]
… Guess I shouldn't be surprised...

Get your own table.

I don't have time to answer questions from herbivores like you.
no subject
Then you also do not have time to be complaining about people sitting at 'your' table.
[And then she turns her attention back to her food, still debating on if she really wants to eat it.]

Cool!
[And then starts swinging it around, fighting imaginary enemies with the grace you would expect from someone who has probably never touched a sword in their life]
no subject
Hey, careful with that! I do not want you hitting someone with that!
no subject
Aren't swords made to hit people though?

[A soft chuckle from behind her, on the stairs.] As long as the flesh is not cut into, it is harmless.
no subject
Sorry Nessiah, the 'fallen angel' pings she's getting are making her nervous. Fallen angels back home were never good news for anyone.] ... What would happen if it is cut into?

Particularly to those weapons and the attitude of their owner. ]
This is your first time here, is it not? If so, greetings. I am Sertoria Cani and it appears we are roommates. I do hope we can work together.
no subject
... It is nice to meet you, Sertoria. I am Zoe Gallais... I am guessing you are familiar with this place?
no subject
The pleasure is all mine, Miss Gallais. I have been here before, but I have recently returned myself. Are you new?

Inwardly, chaos sighed as he approached the person.]
Our worlds are destroyed, so it would not be surprising that no one could hear you now.
no subject
Like hell I am going to believe that our worlds are gone. [She isn't going to mention anything about the trying to get in contact with someone, since it's not something she wants to discuss.]
no subject
I did not believe it either, when I first arrived. However, upon seeing the truth, it is hard to believe otherwise.

Is the other food any good?
no subject
[He seems honest enough, and it's not like he have any reason to lie while carrying a tray of delicious looking food. They might be simple cafeteria food, but any food would look good in a hungry person's eyes.
Minato glance at the table, and then at her.]

no subject
... Yes, I suppose there was. One of those inside jokes. [She stands up from the pew, rubbing her forehead with a sigh as she looks up at the cathedral windows.]
no subject
[ Even if her blank tone doesn't really indicate she thinks so.. but even so, she moves over towards Zoe until she's closer, still peering over. ]
Is it a joke I can hear too?

...Not that he does much of that anymore. He does approach the person, though. Those who are praying are often doing so for guidance, in a place like this.
When she speaks, he realizes - oh...she was expecting something...*
...I've tried praying in this tower too. *But the Gods they're trying to pray to...both of them are gone now. Dead with all other life on their worlds.*
no subject
And were you greeted with silence too?

*But she does not expect silence...*
