Happy Birthday Xion!

Characters: Elena, Turk Family, Team Ragnarock and anybody who is friends with the birthday girl
Setting: Floor 62 , November 18, afternoon - evening
Format: Open, anything goes
Summary: It's Xion’s birthday – at least the one selected. So, being proper parents, Reno and Elena are throwing their bitty girl a birthday party on the beach that will bleed into a solstice bonfire later into the evening.
Warnings: None for now

[It is a little hard to come back to this floor so soon after the fight with Sephiroth, but much like with Ryoji's birthday party, Diarmuid wants to be here for the guest of honor. He might not be as close to Xion as he is to Ryoji, but he still respects her a great deal.

Once there is a break in the people talking to her, he approaches and holds out a plate of cookies.]

Happy Birthday, Xion. I hope you don't mind of some of those are a little oddly shaped.

[He laughs a little nervously, puppy ears twitching.]

I'm still learning how to do this baking thing. One day, I will not turn the kitchen into a war zone, I swear it.

[Xion grins appreciatively, reaching out to take them]

You should have seen the cake Reno and I made Shion. He was happy but I still felt bad.

[Once she'd actually been able to try a piece that is. Cooking ability (or lack thereof) was one of the many ways that Xion was definitely her father's daughter]

You tried and I am sure he was glad of that no matter now it looked or tasted.

[Diarmuid shrugs.]

Some of us are just not meant to bake. Fortunately, we have other talents we can use. That leads me to my second gift to you. I am passing out real weapons to people, but I have no idea what kind of weapons you use, and I don't know if you have a special or magical weapon that you use to fight with normally. However, until we have our powers completely freed, it doesn't hurt to have a back up, does it?

[Xion's eyes widene, startled, then harden slightly. Remembering how the Great Fairy's Sword that Link gave her had all but passed through Jason's leg.]

Yeah... you're right. [The darker look passes, and instead, Xion lifts her arm up, the one not holding the cookies he gave her and summons her Keyblade in it.] Well... I have a film sword but, what I'm most familiar with is this.

[Diarmuid blinks in surprise when she summons the Keyblade. Not because it appears from thin air--that kind of summoning he is used to. No, he is startled by it's shape. He has handled a great many blades, but this one is nothing like he has ever seen before.]

Is that...a kind of sword?
