[once again the Neophyte found herself wandering the Tower. exploring new floors, exploring old ones, catching a bite to eat in the cafeteria...she might even spend a little time in her own dorm room at some point. who knows what she'll get up to or who she'll run into.]

I am curious about what you expect me to say. Surely the descendant of a prolific gamblingant such as Mindfang isn't ashamed of her heritage?

[redglare is trying to piece together how all of this is connected, but it's not fitting with what terezi has told her in the past. therefore she sets out to garner more information by making an obvious (but safe) guess.]

Done at a highblood's behest, at least. I'd barely surfaced when it happened so you'll appreciate the details are a little hazy.

[She replaces her patch, sitting back in her chair a little]

Still, I suppose I should consider myself fortunate I'm allowed to live at all, what with the apparent threat I pose to the monarchy.

That seems a little ridiculous. And it's not a claim you should make so publicly, considering that Her Imperious Condescension roams these halls, as do many of her closest allies.

The Condesce was dethroned sweeps ago. Mindfang was used as a tool to orchestrate that downfall. Does nobody remember their history around here?

[Because that's something she'd sooner not think about but considering there's only been one other she's found who understands her background it's not a tough guess to make]

I've met one other, but her blood color was wrong. Not high enough.

The sign she wore was yellow, and it wasn't Mindfang's. The physical resemblance, however, was uncanny.

Oh, her. That is the one I've run into. Said she was from an alpha timeline, whatever that means. Had the nerve to call me a fake.

It seems that there is such a thing as alternate universes. There are quite a few...duplicates, you could say, of various trolls populating the Tower.

I must admit, an Alternia where lowbloods are in power and highbloods are reviled is one of the stranger universes I've heard of so far.

In any case, you would do well to remember that those you would consider lowbloods don't see themselves that way here, and assuming otherwise would be a very dangerous mistake.

Yeah, yeah, already heard that one. I can take care of myself.

[Apart from that she doesn't have an actual highblood ally here yet and that she sasses Aradia and still lives in no way prepares her for the sea dwellers being in charge but why let that stop her!]
