Night terrors

Characters: Shion and anyone
Setting: Library, night time sob.
Format: I'll follow you
Summary: Shion get's distracted reading, and night falls.
Warnings: Monsters, Shion being useless at fighting

Shion was sat reading, he had been reading most of the afternoon, he had never seen so many books in his life and reading was a good distracting from the fact he was terrified, he had no idea what was going on, if the world- or worlds he guessed, were truly ended or why the tower seemed to grow, and shrink and change.

He stopped reading when he heard a sound. He looked up and realised the library was quiet, quieter than it usually was. He felt hungry, he had not gone to dinner, and he had the feeling that it was much later than dinner time. Shion stood up worried and afraid. The tower was not safe at night, and the dormitories were a long way away.

He started to make his way to the stairs, but he hadn't gone very far when a hand seemed to reach out of a bookcase and pulled him towards it. Shion struggled against it, barely able to move, he shouted out but he didn't know if anyone was around to hear him.

Nina had taken to patrolling the Tower before she went to bed. It seemed that many of the people inside the Tower were not in the habit of going to bed in a timely manner, despite the dangers of wandering around at night, and Nina wasn't about to abandon them to their fates. Although she tried to avoid the biggest and most dangerous monsters, she wasn't about to abandon anyone in need.

When she saw Shion being tugged toward the bookcase, she rushed over hurriedly. Her hand struck the hand dragging him with a hard chop, prompting it to release him.

As soon as he was free, Nina turned to him. "Are you hurt?"

Nina was touched by his gratitude, and feeling his hands grip her tightly made a warm feeling flood into her chest. Not that that made her any less aware of their situation. "It wasn't any trouble," she said, kindly. "But we should go before it happens again. It's not safe here. We have to get you back to your dormitory."

"Which dormitory are you staying in?"
