[Eleanor awoke to a panic. She calmed herself as she tried to make sense of the situation, though the letters left by her (?) bed weren't much help. Trapped. Again. She refused to believe it just yet. Fortunately for her, she found the mismatched Big Sister suit her Father had managed to assemble for her, still in functional condition.

She would not be trapped. After all that had happened, after tasting freedom, Eleanor Lamb was not going to take this lying down.

So she suited up with ease and determined, prepared to explore the place. She would find a way out. She would. So there she is, steps heavy along the corridors, with a distinct clank of metal, as she makes her way around, carefully studying the structure and built of the halls. Like her father has taught her, she's not out to kill innocents, but she will fight, if fighting is what's necessary to recover her freedom.]

[There's something wry in the way Eleanor smiles then, as if the Highblood made a joke only she understood. When she spoke, the wry amusement was still heavy in her tone.]

Not particularly, no. Consider it an observation, more than a complaint.

Sure, I can get my consideration to be all going in that motherfucking direction. [Then gestures to the helmet with a slight nod of his head.] What purpose does your motherfucking headgear serve?

[Eleanor raised the helmet with an arched eyebrow. Though she supposed the whole get up might not be very familiar for someone outside Rapture.]

Protection, mostly. It also allows me to breathe underwater if necessary.

Protection. Oh, yeah, heh heh. Now that's all a motherfucking thing you'll be needing to protect those soft cranial nubs. [A sly grin and he takes a step to the side, side-eyeing her]

[Eleanor turned on her heel, not once giving his back to him. And smiled back, wry as ever.]

I'm not sure if need is the right word. But what can I say? My Father taught me to be cautious.

Can't say I know what a motherfucking father is, but it done right to be schoolfeeding you that shit. [leans forward slowly, showing no signs of stopping until he's at least a few inches from her face. That is, if she decided not to move.] Shit gets pretty motherfucking dangerous all up in here, you know.

[She had a spot in the hallway, about ten feet behind her, clearly pictured in her mind. She could teleport away before he touched her, she was almost certain. She probably should, just for the sake of being cautious. But she had a feeling this monstrous-looking thing was mocking her. Testing her.

And Eleanor Lamb was just too damn stubborn to back down without a fight. She tilted her chin up defiantly, even as he leaned in. From up close, it was pretty clear he wasn't human, just humanoid. And even that was debatable. She wasn't entirely sure if the grey or the white was paint on his face, or if both or neither. The horns and the wild mane, and the expression on his face, it screamed predator. Could she believe what she'd told her? That he was not one of those responsible for trying to cage her? He had a collar around his neck, much like the one she wore, at least.

Ultimately, it didn't matter, because he was trying to cow her. Eleanor Lamb did not cower, not after all she'd seen and done and suffered. She would not give him the satisfaction.]

Yes. It seems that way.

[Not gonna lie, he's a little disappointed that she's so unshakable, but he's still impressed. He's met plenty of brave souls here, so he's slowly getting used to it, but hopes it doesn't reach into the irritation territory. He'd have to get more creative as time passed.]

Honk. [He doesn't use the honking warning as much anymore, but it seemed to be the right thing to do! His hand shoots out, attempting to claw off that petite little head sticking out of the suit.]

[Yeah, all stubborn bluffing aside, those are some pretty damn big hands and she's pretty damn sure they can be deadly. She teleports a few yards away, leaving behind only a purple mist to signal her presence there at all. When she reappears, she's in a defensive position, still holding her helmet and silently trying to calculate whether she should run for it or stick around to fight. But before that...]

...did you just honk at me?

[Pause.]

And try to kill me?

[In all honesty, it's the honking that has her perplexed. The trying to kill her bit she's pretty used to.]

[Whoa heh heh, what just--

She teleports pretty damn quick. It's like his flash step, except she leaves the mist behind. His expression of mild surprise transforms into one of peals of laughter, though it's mostly at her reaction to his honk.]

Sure did, sister. It's a bad motherfucking habit that all just rears its goofy ass head now and then, especially when I try to spring the wicked surprise on a motherfucker!

[Eleanor tilted her head to the side, which looked almost as unnatural an angle without the helmet as with it.]

...the honking or the attempts at killing?

[Just to clarify. Mostly on account of the fact she'd like to know if she should be angry, once she stopped being bemused.]

[His laughter dies down abruptly.]

Might be motherfucking both. Who the fuck knows?

Definitely not me.

[Eleanor smiles wryly, swaying on her feet a bit. She looks at him carefully, but it's still not fear what he inspires in her. Healthy respect, maybe, the sort that won't let her stick around so close so casually, but not fear. Mostly curiosity. What's his world like? Are there others like him? It's fascinating, but she has a feeling she has overstayed her welcome. Generally, attempts to kill someone herald that pretty loudly.]

But for what's worth, I like the honking and the laughter better. They suit you well.

[He can't really tell if she's being sarcastic or not, but hey, most people do end up liking the honking and laughing better because...well...because neither of them are killing.]

Well, I'll be all taking that as a motherfucking compliment.

It was meant to be.

[Eleanor shakes her head. He's such a curious creature, but she can't feel but that she has overstepped her welcome. And that's a dangerous thing to do, all things considered.]

Perhaps we can talk some more later, Gran Highblood.

[By her tone, he assumes she will just poof away the moment he moves towards her, so he just stays where he is. He'll have plenty of chances to get to "know her" soon, he thinks.

He says nothing, just staring intently at her, the grin still wide on his face.]

[And she's gone, in a puff of purple mist, not reappearing in the same floor again.]
