Summary: Alistair explores and tries to find out what the hell is going on. Also, he thinks he's a prison in Tevinter, so he might be a little jumpy.
Warnings: None. Unless derp isn't your cup of tea.

"These clothes were seriously not made for wearing armor. You can tell they don't have Templars in Tevinter, everything chafes..." Alistair mumbled to himself, rolling his shoulders with a loud clang of metal on metal. Mages, honestly. How did they get by with such light armor? He may have woken up to a bunch of lies and surrounded by strange... things (machines,) but what were they thinking when they left his armor and sword there? They didn't think he'd just stay, did they? Their security was laughable too. So far it looked like no one else in their group had been kidnapped here (and how did they get him so fast? Magic. it had to be magic,) but he wasn't giving up hope.

So now Alistair is walking down a hallway, trying to be 'stealthy,' if you would, and checking rooms to see if any of his friends (or Morrigan) are here. Feel free to pop in! (He'll only be mildly startled.)

Romeo smiled again looking up at the man as he stood up. "No, it's a tower. Did you not get a note? The worlds ended? Or maybe ended? Or we were kidnapped? I don't really know. But anyways we can't leave this tower sir."

"I did get a note." He just didn't think it was true. Which it wasn't. Probably. Destroying a whole world? That sort of thing didn't even happen in Chantry tales. "But what do you mean, we can't leave? If it's a tower, it must have an entrance or an exit," Alistair seemed a bit puzzled by this; it seemed a bit like The Circle in Ferelden, but as much as that tower was built to keep people in as much as out, it had it's ins and outs.

Romeo shook his head, "I don't think it does, at least no ones found one yet sir." He smiled again, "Some people go out to wash the windows though, but they go from a window that's really high up!"

"Yes, that doesn't surprise me." Towers and jails don't usually parade their exits where everyone can see. "Dangerous job, that." He commented, going over the rest of those facts in his head. By all accounts, the place sounded like a prison after all. Now what was a kid doing here?

"Mind if I ask you a question?" He shifted his weight, fidgeting a bit. A holding facility without escape was not the kind of place he wanted to be, given what he should be doing and with whom.

Of course, that was all a little too serious for him, so he decided to just ignore all that for now. "Sorry, I haven't even introduced myself. I'm Alistair, of the Grey Wardens."

Romeo nodded, it was dangerous and he was scared for his friends that had to do it. He nodded again at the request for a question and then smiled politely at the introduction. "Hello mister Alistair, I'm Romeo and I was Black Brother but I'm not now I guess because I'm here.

"Uhm, sorry what?" Alistair arched a brow rather pointedly. That bit didn't make much sense. "Do you happen to know why we're here?"

Romeo blinked, "Sorry sir!" He didn't know what had confused the man though, "My names Romeo, and I used to be a Black Brother, which is a group of chimney sweeps, like your Grey Wardens I guess, except your a knight right? Not a chimney sweep!" He hoped that the man wasn't confused anymore because confused adults could get angry.

"No sir, though the people who brought us here said the world ended, and some people think we were kidnapped."

"Ohhh, I see. Chimney sweeps... that's a really good idea." Why hadn't anyone thought of that back in Ferelden? "Yes, that's right. The Grey Wardens are an order of warriors from all the races and nations across Thedas." He smiled at that, even if brought back the memories of their death to think about them; the good memories were still there too.

"Well, you shouldn't always believe the first thing a mysterious, unmarked note tells you. About the world-ending business, anyway." Who would say such a thing and why? To make them complacent? He'd have to mull over it later. "In any case, kidnapping sounds much more likely. Though I suppose it says a lot about our situation, if kidnapping is actually the optimistic choice right now."

"Do you not have chimney sweeps where you come from mister Alistair?" He grinned, he was talking to a real life knight! He nodded, "At least if we got kidnapped then we know it was bad people who took us and we can escape!"

"Well, we have chimneys, certainly, but the people who do usually have their servants try and clean them. Don't think we have a brigade of specialists, or anything that... specialized." He smirked, liking this kid's attitude already. "Right you are. 'Find the bad people, kick their butts, and go home.' Sounds like a good plan to me."

Romeo nodded, "Well the chimney sweeps all work seperatly but adults are too big to climb up chimneys! So they have to buy kids so that we can climb up there, and clean them and so we made a brotherhood to help each other out!" he smiled and his smile grew bigger at the next words.

"Yes sir! Then everybody will be able to go home and be happy!"

"Ohhhh." He didn't have to ask to know the kind of details that went with that. Kids that get bought usually implies urchins on the street. Poor kid, but good on him to be so bright after all that.

"That's the spirit! Now we just have to look around and find those shady folks. You wouldn't happen to have any idea where to start, would you?"

He grinned again, "Well some people came to talk to us and answer questions, and if we could find them again, I think they are the ones who brought us here. But we need to find them first, and some more bits of the tower opened so there's a forest and a big lake with caves now, so there's lots of places for them to hide!"

"A forest and a lake in a tower? You must be pulling my leg." Not that he actually thought the kid was kidding, but Maker, that has to be magic. "Do these people have names? Do you know what country we're in?" Because either Tevinter was moving back to the days of the Imperium or he was not in the known world anymore...

"Nope," Romeo shook his head, "It's the truth sir! There's a maze too..." His smile dropped and he looked frightened for a moment, "But don't go in there sir!"

He thought back to the question session, which had been a long time ago, "I think one of them was called Jason, and I think there was a Zo? And a Riki and someone else who I can't remember!" He shook his head again, "I don't think we're in any country, everyone's from different worlds and I think this is a seperate world somewhere else and there's just this tower and fog everywhere!"
