Summary: The Doctor is trying, and failing, to get his collar off. Ridiculousness ensues.

[The Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver whirred

Another crash]

Oh come on!

[A small explosion occurs. Smoke fills the room, but the whirr is heard once more, and the smoke begins to clear up.]

Okay. [cough] Right then. [cough] Note to self --- or is it selves?

Well. Note to me: The Sonic Screwdriver does not work on lighty uppy collar thingies.

Well who are you!! And doctors are mean and scary and you don't look mean or scary and you don't sound mean or scary! You're kinda funny and doctors aren't funny! But I couldn't get the collar off with super strength so how are you gonna get it off with a jar of jam and a hat! And what if you can't get the jam or the hat and what if the hat isn't red or square or have that charm thing and what if it doesn't make you warm and it looks dumb!

Now, to answer your questions.

Firstly, I haven't even the faintest idea how I'm going to get this blasted collar off. But I will get it off. It's inhumane and obscures my bow tie.

Secondly, I always work better when I have a fez. Or any cool hat, really. In fact, I would probably have gotten us all out of here by now if River hadn't shot all my cool hats. Thinks she's so hot with her "hello, sweetie" and "it wouldn't make that noise if you turned the parking breaks off." She's just jealous.

But anyway. Thirdly, if I can't get the hat or jar or if they're lacking in any way whtsoever, I'll just use something else.

Fourthly and finally, fezzes are always cool, and I am cool. Therefore, there is no way for me to look dumb in a fez.

[Cool hats?] I would absolutely love to see your cool hats. And River is my...well she's...River is my River. She isn't here, but she's probably looking for me. I bet she broke out of prison again and everything. Just to find me. Rather charming. Amy and Rory are probably with her. I bet they've got the TARDIS too. You haven't seeen a blue box 'round have you?

[she shakes her head at the bowtie] It still looks silly!

...So River is a bad person? If she's in jail that means she's bad right? Are Amy and Rory bad too? Are you bad? You don't seem bad? Maybe you just have bad friends, I had a bad friend but he's gone now. I dunno what a TARDIS is and I haven't seen any blue boxes but [she grabs his sleeve] come look at my hats!

[He shakes his head] River's not a bad person...she's just River. She did some bad things, but that doesn't mean she's bad. Amy and Rory are as far from bad as you get, though. They're very important to me.

I do good things, Molly, I promise. And I would simply love to look at your hats.

[she leads him to her room and she kneels at her trunk, inside is some clothes but it's mostly cool hats. She has a frog, cat, and rabbit visible on top]

THAT'S. SO. COOL!!! My friend Gert's parents could time travel but they were evil but they got her a dinosaur from the future that Gert can talk to with her mind so I guess that's cool!!
