[The Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver whirred

Another crash]

Oh come on!

[A small explosion occurs. Smoke fills the room, but the whirr is heard once more, and the smoke begins to clear up.]

Okay. [cough] Right then. [cough] Note to self --- or is it selves?

Well. Note to me: The Sonic Screwdriver does not work on lighty uppy collar thingies.

Do you really? People ought to give you a chance. I suppose humans do always tend to be a tad suspicious, though. I'd love to hear about what it's like, being Canada, I mean.

Oh no, Time Lords didn't do that. That's all humans and such, but we did come first.

There's no particular reason for it, just that if we came first the comparison is the other way.
