Summary: Dolorosa is working with some textiles when she gets interrupted?
Warnings: Possible violence and chocolate plot business.

[ Dolorosa had been working on this dress for a couple weeks now, collecting what scraps she could that fit her needs, but they weren't always easy to come by. It was the veiled cape that had been the most difficult, but she'd finally found the right material, and had gotten the dye to properly take.

It was almost finished, and soon she would't have to continue wearing this silly jumpsuit any longer. It only needed one last addition: her sign. It had been sweeps since she'd last worn it, or even been allowed to see it, but she ever forgot its shape, and so making the thread follow her whims until it took form was accomplished without mistake, and only the slightest pause.

It was a form of therapy, this dress. A reclamation of her identity. Within the hour, once properly garbed, she would once again be fully herself. ]

Do you feel I'm being too nosy?

That depends on whether your species always rattles off a laundry list of personal questions to people they've just met or not.

I'm simply trying to make conversation. If the directions I select are so undesirable, here's no need to be so indirect in your belief of such.

What, and ruin your carefully put together dialogue? That's just spiteful.

But preferable to our exchange taking an unwelcome turn.

You're talking with me; that's pretty much starting out with a guaranteed unwelcome turn, so there's not much else either of us can do to make it any worse.

You genuinely aren't fond of social interactions in general, are you?

I generally don't get anything better out of them than a headache, so not particularly.

[mamadonna]

But, for one so against such exchanges, you have yet to fully discontinue this one.

If I keep talking to somebody usually they can figure out on their own that they don't want to talk to me again. A little extra effort the first time goes a long way.

[mamadonna]

Ah, but we aren't discussing anyone else's inclinations to further these discussions, we're talking about yours.

[Rose has gone her entire life without a serious mother figure and is perfectly fine without one!!!1!]

I don't mind suffering a little extra annoyance if keeping up one conversation saves me from a shit ton of future ones.

And what assures you so certainly that there won't be any in the future?

I could cheat and say because I personally went and checked, but I'm feeling sort of generous today. Let's just go with a really good feeling.

[mamadonna]

[ Oh no, not more talk of predestined futures! Though not really from a troll this time, so she wouldn't really know to take that as seriously just yet.]

Such a statement may only give me further motivation to prove it inaccurate, as well.

I really doubt that. You don't look like somebody who likes to be contrary just to be a little shit.

Not for the express purpose of spite, no, but to provide the example of a kinder method.

You'd be wasting your time if you did - I like my method just fine, unkind or not.

Which, perhaps, only further illustrates the need for a more positive influence.

I'm done with influences of any kind, especially ones that think they know what's best for me.

I can make no demands, the best I can offer is my example and my compassion. Whether you accept it or instead spurn it will ultimately result from your own cognizance.

But you can't expect me to surrender so quickly as this.

I wouldn't consider it a fight. Neither a quarrel.

Disagreement may lay at the heart of this matter, but its solution will seek to eschew conflict entirely.

A fight's a fight, don't try and sugarcoat it. It doesn't mean I'm going to hate you forever or shit, it's just how things get done.
