Setting: 6th floor, aka the forest aka Redglare's favorite floor
Format: you pick i'll follow
Summary: Redglare hangs out in the forest, presumably people bother her. I am 0k with chocolate shenanigans!
Warnings: possibly violence or other such shenanigans.

[there are monsters in the forest, yes, and it can be a little disturbing at times, but it's really quite reminiscent of Alternia if you ignore how the color scheme of the trees is wrong. so Redglare likes to hang out there when she's not 1NV3ST1G4T1NG up a storm.

and today she's actually close enough to the staircase that casual passersby can spot her if they're paying attention. she's just leaning against a tree, relaxing.

or, relaxing as much as she ever does in a place that isn't totally private.]

[oh hey it's her favorite person to harass. sometimes. redglare raises an eyebrow at her query.]

Enjoying the scenery. You?

Nothing.

[She pauses, tilting her head slightly.]

Aren't you bored?

Must taking a moment to breathe be boring?

[She takes a step forward, planting herself firmly in Redglare's personal bubble.]

[wow what is it with troll ladies and invading redglare's personal space, huh? naturally she holds her ground.]

I take it you have a problem with that?

It can be.

[She brushes her arm against Redglare's absently.]

[rude! redglare leans forward, ever so slightly, because clearly that was a challenge.]

I can't say I've ever seen you doing something more interesting.

[Clearly! The Handmaid smirks.]

You haven't seen me do much of anything.

[speaking of smirks...redglare's is more of a grin.]

Yes, dear, that would be the point.

[The Handmaid hesitates, ignoring whatever stupid thing Redglare is saying, and rests her hands on the other trolls' hips.]

[UH

redglare only has one free hand, due to her cane, and she reflexively puts that hand over one of the handmaid's, presumably to try and get it off. act now or forever hold your peace, handmaid!!]

[She leans forward, resting her head against Redglare's and digging her claws into her hips.]

What?

[redglare digs her own claws into handmaid's hand and tilts her chin up in a reflexive maneuver of superiority. gotta keep the upper hand here somehow.]

You're being awfully rude.

So?

[She rolls her eyes. God, Redglare is so pretentious sometimes, but she's closing the distance between them and pressing her lips against the legislacerator's, anyway.]

[so redglare doesn't actually know what the proper protocol for sloppy makeouts is? is this a hate smooch? should she.....smooch.......back????? she has no idea what to do so mostly she just doesn't do anything. give her some warning for these things, gosh...]

[Wow, what a let down. The Handmaid presses closer, kissing her a little harder. COME ON?]

[wow it's not like you gave her that much to work with? but no anyway this successively more intense mashing of lips prompts redglare to...mash her lips back....is this kissing, is this the real life]

[May....be... But apparently that's all the Handmaid wanted, because she steps back, eyes flashing as she pulls the wands from her hair.]

[what, are they going to fight?...that's part of blackrom, right? is that what's happening?

redglare still has her cane in one hand, and she raises it so that it's clutched in both, ready to unsheathe the sword hidden within if this really does escalate. she'll have time for that, right?]

Is this really what you want?

[she doesn't use a name for the handmaid, because the ones she keeps picking are purposefully ridiculous and it doesn't feel appropriate for the situation.]

Stop asking stupid questions.

[She steps back, sending an arc of cracking majyyks at Redglare.]

[at short range and without much room to move, redglare can't dodge quickly enough to avoid being hit. she does at least take the blow to her arm instead of her torso, but the sensation is far from pleasant as she staggers away.

she's going to have to get in close to use her sword. this will not be a fun endeavor.]

They're only as stupid as your actions!

[she unsheathes her sword as she darts forward, hoping to disarm the handmaid or at least get a blade to her throat before she can strike again.]
