Not gonna do lyrics this time.
Characters: A bunch of the keyderps and Nobodies and some.
Setting: Spring Floor!
Format: Go wild. |D
Summary: The temperature keeps dropping, and with the power going on and off it's getting pretty cold. After a couple of good suggestions on her network post, Xion decides to try a group bonfire. More people come than she expects.
Warnings: It's a bunch of cold people huddling around a campfire. Probably not going to be much more than PG

[The fire is set a little ways away from the stairs, on a patch of clearer ground. There's a pile of wood nearby, riskily portaled up from the forest floor. But there's enough there to keep the fire going for a few hours at least.
It's not a roaring bonfire or anything, but it should be enough to keep anyone there warmer, at least.]
[[ooc; have at you guys! Tag, tag each other, threadjack, etc. In other words, GO FORTH AND MINGLE.]]

Sora...! [That pile of material might be waving at him.]
no subject
He smiles, waving back before running over to her - keeping a tight grip on his own blanket, of course.]
Hey, Namine!
[And he's just gonna happily plop right down next to her.]
Looks like you had the right idea, bringing all of those blankets along.
no subject
-- Hee...! I'm glad you agree. You can use one, if you need it. [Even if he already has one.]
no subject
He's not slow about wrapping himself back up in his blanket either, hoping to get as warm as he possibly can.]
Nah, I'm okay. [Well...alright, he was freezing, but he would be okay. Namine looked comfortable, and one blanket was plenty for him!] Besides, the fire helps a lot.
no subject
She definitely doesn't blame him.
No more freezy deaths allowed.]Alright. [Nod. She won't press, then.] If you're sure. ... Mm, it does. It was a good idea.
no subject
No, a freezy death definitely does NOT sound fun.]Yeah. Having so many friends all in one place for something like this...it feels a little bit like home.
[There was no beach, no ocean, no bright sunny day...but there was at least a little taste of that warmth that had been absent from the rest of his stay so far in the Tower. More than enough to make him happy. But also enough to make him a bit more homesick.
Still, he tries not to think about that last part, keeping a smile on his face.]
But I'm from an island, so I guess this actually pretty different. [To say the least.]
no subject
Most decidedly not.][Home, huh? She's never truly had one of her own, not a real one (how can someone without a heart have a home, if home is where the heart is? If that's the case, the only home she'll even has is with Kairi), but... she's seen enough second-hand memories to know a thing or two about it. His smile only serves to reinforce the idea that maybe things feeling a little like home is a good thing -- not that he might not try to smile even if he wasn't totally happy. Her lips curve to form a reflection of his, albeit probably a flawed one.]
Mm. [She almost says, 'I know'. Instead,] I'm sure. Have you been alright?
no subject
Yeah, I've been fine. How about you, Namine?
[He really is wondering - he hasn't gotten to talk to her as much as he would have liked after their first meeting.]
no subject
I've been... fine, too.
[Although the question seems to take a little longer to answer than entirely necessary... possibly because there are a few things of varying 'fine'ness on her mind.]
no subject
In fact, maybe it would be better to change the subject altogether. Sora stays quiet for a minute, thinking something over.]
Say, Namine. All the people here are from a bunch of different worlds, right? So...what was your world like?
no subject
Yes, there are. [As for that second question-- well, in some cases, maybe she would say that it was complicated, only... it's a lot harder to say that to Sora. She knows precisely how much she can trust him, and that's a luxury she very much appreciates.]
Well... I've lived in more than one, so-- I guess it depends on which one you mean. [Which one she should claim as 'hers', anyway.]
no subject
You have? And you remember both of them?
no subject
I have, and I do. They were-- very different places.
no subject
[It seems like as good a way of deciding which one to talk about as any, to Sora. He looks at Namine, and it's clear how eager he is to hear about other worlds - how much he wants to hear about what they're like, from someone who knows about places beyond Destiny Islands. Beyond this tower. He has no idea what's going through Namine's head right now - he's just curious.]
no subject
... The second one. [Insofar as she can like anything, of course - but that answer's easy. Twilight Town was by far a better place to be.] It w-- is called Twilight Town. It's... quiet, and beautiful.
no subject
[She doesn't have to describe it in detail; the name alone brings with it an image of a small town and sunsets, which is really about as close as you can get to picturing the real thing without seeing it - not that Sora knows that. Still, he's never been one to worry too much about missing details.]
Someday, I want to go see it.
no subject
[The girl blinks at him, head slightly tilting after that comment.] -- Really...?
no subject
[After he fixes everything that went wrong already, anyway. It's not like he can just forget about the islands.]
...hey, Naminé? Once we get out of here, can you show it to me? I mean, Twilight Town. It'll be a lot easier to get there if I have some help.
no subject
[He'll see it, anyway, won't he? If the timeline remains intact, he won't need her to show him the way. But... if it doesn't-- well. She hesitates. She doesn't want to let him down, but knowing what she knows, can she really promise him that? Perhaps it would be best to make do with,] I'll... make sure that you get the chance to see it. [and a quiet little quirk to her mouth.]
