Not gonna do lyrics this time.
Characters: A bunch of the keyderps and Nobodies and some.
Setting: Spring Floor!
Format: Go wild. |D
Summary: The temperature keeps dropping, and with the power going on and off it's getting pretty cold. After a couple of good suggestions on her network post, Xion decides to try a group bonfire. More people come than she expects.
Warnings: It's a bunch of cold people huddling around a campfire. Probably not going to be much more than PG

[The fire is set a little ways away from the stairs, on a patch of clearer ground. There's a pile of wood nearby, riskily portaled up from the forest floor. But there's enough there to keep the fire going for a few hours at least.
It's not a roaring bonfire or anything, but it should be enough to keep anyone there warmer, at least.]
[[ooc; have at you guys! Tag, tag each other, threadjack, etc. In other words, GO FORTH AND MINGLE.]]

She ends up standing up and moving around the fire, wrapped in her own blankets, until she can sit down closer to him.]
Hey.

Well, Riku's not going to dismiss her; it's just not his style, Instead, he'll turn to face her.]
Hey yourself.

She shrugs a little at the blankets she's got, more with her left shoulder than her right.]
I have extra, if you need any.

[After all, he's not a fan of the cold. Extra blankets would definitely help.]

[Shrugging off the outermost blanket now. The extra cold doesn't really kick in yet - the lower layers were still pretty warm, after all, and the fire was helping. It's a bit tricky, trying to pull it around without pulling the other layers off and being careful of her right shoulder still. It probably looks pretty silly. But in the end she manages it, holding out the blanket to him.
It's then that she notices he's holding something.]
What's that?

It's a good luck charm. One of my friends gave it to me.
I had way too much fun with this tag

She shakes her head, speaking without thinking.]
That's... Kairi's, isn't it?
no subject
Yeah, it's hers. She gave it to me before I took on Ansem, and I've kept it with me ever since.
no subject
It looks like the one she gave Sora in... [his memories, but she can't say that. She shakes her head.] the way things went in my... universe... [The term is still awkward. It's hard to think there's... versions of themselves out there where things happened so differently.]
no subject
[But... things were probably different for her. Much different, so he's not really surprised.]
I'll have to take good care of it while I'm here, since she's not with me right now.
no subject
Sounds like a good time for a topic change.]
I... don't think I ever said, but... I'm Xion.
no subject
[Hm, interesting name. And, hey, it's a segue as good as any, really.]
Well, at least we're on a first name basis now. No need to worry about just saying "you".
no subject
[Even though she knew his name right from the start.
She's not sure what to say after that - small talk has never been a specialty of hers - so she reaches out from under her not-as-thick blanket mountain, picks up some of the wood she got and tosses it on the fire, a little clumsily, sending sparks flying and making her jump back a little with a small squeak surprise.
... it's probably obvious she's never done this sort of thing before.]
no subject
Might want to step back a little before you do that again.
no subject
[She does back up a little before gently throwing the next branch onto the fire. She inspects her handiwork before pulling her arm back under the blankets.]
Heh, this is the first time I've ever done anything like this...
[Way to say what they're all thinking, Xion.]
no subject
[See? That wasn't too hard! He smirks, leaning back a little bit.]
But it's not bad for a first try. If these cold temperatures keep up, we might have to do this more often.
