Not gonna do lyrics this time.
Characters: A bunch of the keyderps and Nobodies and some.
Setting: Spring Floor!
Format: Go wild. |D
Summary: The temperature keeps dropping, and with the power going on and off it's getting pretty cold. After a couple of good suggestions on her network post, Xion decides to try a group bonfire. More people come than she expects.
Warnings: It's a bunch of cold people huddling around a campfire. Probably not going to be much more than PG

[The fire is set a little ways away from the stairs, on a patch of clearer ground. There's a pile of wood nearby, riskily portaled up from the forest floor. But there's enough there to keep the fire going for a few hours at least.
It's not a roaring bonfire or anything, but it should be enough to keep anyone there warmer, at least.]
[[ooc; have at you guys! Tag, tag each other, threadjack, etc. In other words, GO FORTH AND MINGLE.]]

[Ah. She doesn't seem terribly surprised to have been found out.]
Yes, I do. You're from one of the other universes, then? [It's a more comforting thought than that the tower's up to something again, and certainly viable.]
no subject
Yeah. And I'd say my universe is pretty different, at least from what I've heard so far.
[Which is all so terribly mind boggling to him, in fact.]
no subject
Different how?

[SHOOM. He'll just... summon the Keyblade. Kingdom Key, to be precise.]
And that's not all.
no subject
... I see. How did... that happen? [And by 'that' she means him having the Kingdom Key.]

[He shuts his eyes and sighs. Riku still blames himself, since he opened the door, and then he refused to close Kingdom Hearts after Ansem's defeat.]

[So she can surmise, then, that there are some differences in his heart, or at least in the path that he chose to follow. That's to be expected, even if the rest of this has caught her a bit off-guard. Pause. Judging by his reaction to that, some things didn't change, but it's too early to assume much of anything. After all, perhaps for him, the experience of losing his home is still fresh in his mind, instead. She looks sympathetic, at least.] ... I'm sorry.
What about your world's Sora? [Well,] If you have one.

[He hesitates. Riku is far from proud of what happened to his friend. How Sora met Maleficent and got deceived into thinking she was his friend and looking out for the worlds. How Sora had been dragged into her scheme, only to learn the truth when it was too late.
And then he freed Kairi's heart and became...]
He's a Nobody now, and the Organization's done something to his memories. They created a Replica, too.

--.... [Her brow knits, frown growing more pronounced. Done something to his memories? Was-- did it have to with this Riku's world's Naminé?
Funny, how she feels guilty regardless.]That's.... [What can she even say, besides --]
-- I'm so sorry...!

[The Organization... they're the ones to blame. They took Sora's Nobody, had somebody change his memories and created that Replica too.
While Riku does look pretty darn upset, his tone shifts to something with a bit more frustration.]
It's just been hard on me and Kairi. Sora's Nobody thinks I'm a fake, and not just a fake. A fake that took his heart. The Replica shares those same memories. They don't even remember Kairi!

[No, no, she shouldn't jump to conclusions. Her hands lace together in front of her as if for comfort. Even if he's not the Riku she knows, she feels bad for him. There are so many things in that information that distress her, but she tries to keep a relatively straight face.]
I... can imagine. [And it sounds so much like her own doing that it makes her feel ill.] And-- I hope that you can find a way to change things.
no subject
[He shakes his head, reaching down for that charm.]
I promised Kairi that I'd find a way to get Sora back, no matter what. There's no way I'm going to back down.
no subject
I believe you. [If he's anything like the Riku she knows, he's probably stubborn enough.]
