Characters: orphaner dualscar (
orphans) and whoever!
Setting: the dormitory floor or cafeteria; any of the stairs in between
Format: starting with action, but i'll match
Summary: dualscar deals with his curse. or rather, doesn't.
Warnings: innuendo, language, the ability to use this icon icly, and general hideousness
[it was pretty easy to tell something was blatantly askew with him; thus, avoidance of the majority of the tower's floors for sometime. but that newly and mysterious acquired feeling of benevolence towards his peers? the seemingly inherent need to good? to keep peace? the come-ons, ones that would even make his fins curl with distaste, that would tumble from his mouth nigh every time he dared open it?
it was beginning to make him physically sick.
he was hoping this to be just another trick of the tower. though upon noticing no one else seemed to be afflicated as he was, the seclusion had began. however, he can't survive forever in such-- it's actually relatively easy to catch him rushing through hallways, up stairwells, or hurriedly finishing a bowl of oatmeal at a lone table.
feel free to say hi. the orphaner actually won't bite this time.]

[oh, god. why do you have to go and ask him to repeat things? he takes a step towards her, so that they're level. or, rather, as much as their height differences would allow.]
I hope you know CPR, because you take my breath away.

Are you trying to make some sort of proposal, Orphaner?

An' what... would that be?
[not to play coy, or anything.]

I would imagine it will only be more embarrassing for you if I say it.

[because as much as the curse wants him to look on the bright side of things? fuck it. curiosity killed the cat, and all that.]
Go on.

[this is what mindfang once referred to as her "ridiculous grin".]
While I suppose it is [this is a conspicuous pause] flattering, I am not interested in reciprocating your advances, flushed or otherwise.

but this is the first time he's seen that grin, and is unable to think of it as ridiculous!! ridiculously large, actually, and he can't help but get the feeling that she's... relishing in that jab.
but that's paid no mind. he inclines his head towards her.]
... I see.

[even with that grin on her posture is still so formal.]
