[Open] blame everything on motion controls
Characters: Zelda (SS) and anyone she runs into!
Setting: Dormitories/Floor 25/Floor 22
Format: I'll be starting off with prose, but action is fine. I'm flexible.
Summary: Fresh meat wandering around the tower.
Warnings: Probably Ghirahim. Ghirahim's his own warning, right? There will probably be spoilers for Skyward Sword as well, but other than that, not sure. Will update as needed.
DORMITORIES
This is the first area Zelda finds herself wandering aimlessly through, still in a bit of shock after being ripped oh-so-unceremoniously from her homeworld. The collar on her neck serves as a sharp reminder of what's happened, and no matter how hard she tries, she can't seem to remove it. Stepping through the halls as quietly as possible, the former goddess proceeds with caution-- you may run into her looking wide-eyed and a little lost!
FLOOR 25
This floor surprises her. Zelda wasn't expecting to see an open meadow sprawled out before her when she reached the bottom of the stairs, because she's pretty sure towers don't work like that! Looking even more puzzled than before, she tip-toes her way through the tall grass and flowers, as if expecting a bunch of bokoblins to come stampeding out of nowhere. As much as she enjoys the random fresh air and the warm breeze on her face, it is... probably a good idea to keep moving. Yes.
FLOOR 22
This is where things get even creepier. The floors before it were passed through swiftly and easily enough, but she has to stop and stare at the paintings covering the walls in this room. It's like the artist crawled inside her head and didn't leave before stealing every single one of her fears for inspiration. Images of The Imprisoned, Demise, and Ghirahim staring in different variations of death and destruction wrought upon Skyloft, the Surface... her family and friends... Link.
And the worst part is how real it feels. Almost as if someone had taken a photograph of something that actually occurred, though she knows that is just plain silly! They defeated those monsters and sealed Demise's remains away inside the Master Sword, right?
Right?

Right?

"You have been brought to this tower by terrible, terrible people. They bring in people from different worlds, and different times. You had just been talking with me, or had seen me recently before coming here, correct? I have not seen you in over a month, that is how long I have been here."
He places a hand on her shoulder.
"And for my arm... well. Your harp had been placed in one of the floors. The floor has water filled with different types of monsters called 'fish'. When I was swimming out of the water with the harp, a giant fish had gotten a hold of my arm and it had bit it right off."

"... I'm sorry, Link. I wish I could have been here to help."
She doesn't know what she could have done, but she still has some of the powers of the Goddess within her, right? Maybe she could have done something for him. Anything.
no subject
Shit. He did not realize previously that with Zelda being here, along with Ganon and Ghirahim, there were the troubles of the Tower threatening her life.
no subject
"... Why is that?"
no subject

"Link, I should have been there. Somehow-- maybe-- I could have done something, I am almost sure of it."
With a heavy heart, she looks up at him-- she doesn't like feeling helpless.
"Link, you've lost an arm. What is worse than that?"
She regrets asking this almost immediately.
no subject
"...you know, Pipit's here as well. You should say hello to him later."
no subject
"Pipit, too? Is he alright?"
no subject
Fuck no that will only worry her again.
"B-but he is in high spirits like always!"
He offers her a smile.
no subject
"I see."
Link is being strong and taking this so well... maybe she should try taking a page from his book.
"But I can't help but wonder what sort of terrible people are behind all of this. Do you know, Link?"
no subject
"I haven't the slightest idea."
no subject
Gosh, what have you been doing here when you weren't getting your limbs bitten off by monsters? Sleeping? The shock's gone, man. Zelda's ready to look for whoever is responsible and put a stop to this!
no subject
"I don't think it's possible to find out who is behind this. There are people who have been here a lot longer then I have and they know just as much as I do."
no subject
"There are people who have been here even longer?"
She won't let this new revelation discourage her, however. This just means they'll have to try harder!
no subject
no subject
"It's alright. I am sure we'll find a way home."
no subject
"And as long as we are here, I will make sure that we stay safe."
no subject
"Yes. I have not been here as long a you have, nor do I have the same experience as you... but I believe we will make it through this."
Zelda shoots him a demure glance.
"Especially if you are here with me."
no subject
He rubs the back of his head.
"We will be fine, I have some friends here who are just as strong as I."
He pauses for a moment.
"Well, family and friends."
no subject
"... Family?"
Odd. She doesn't remember Link having any family.
no subject
He nods.
"There are 3 other people here, they share my name, and they have a similar outfit to mine. They are my descendants, and I have taken the role as their guardian, I suppose. And there is a princess named Zelda, I believe she is your descendant."
no subject
Not only is it shocking to learn that she has descendants, but to find out that one of them is here? And that she is a princess? And that she shares the same name as her?
Even more shocking is the revelation that there are... three Links...
"So... our descendants are here? But how is that possible?"
The Gate of Time, maybe?
no subject
"It is possible thanks to the power of this place."
no subject
She does laugh a little at the prospect of all those
LumpsLinks running around."Are your descendants sleepyheads like you, too?"
no subject
"It seems so!"
