[Open] blame everything on motion controls
Characters: Zelda (SS) and anyone she runs into!
Setting: Dormitories/Floor 25/Floor 22
Format: I'll be starting off with prose, but action is fine. I'm flexible.
Summary: Fresh meat wandering around the tower.
Warnings: Probably Ghirahim. Ghirahim's his own warning, right? There will probably be spoilers for Skyward Sword as well, but other than that, not sure. Will update as needed.
DORMITORIES
This is the first area Zelda finds herself wandering aimlessly through, still in a bit of shock after being ripped oh-so-unceremoniously from her homeworld. The collar on her neck serves as a sharp reminder of what's happened, and no matter how hard she tries, she can't seem to remove it. Stepping through the halls as quietly as possible, the former goddess proceeds with caution-- you may run into her looking wide-eyed and a little lost!
FLOOR 25
This floor surprises her. Zelda wasn't expecting to see an open meadow sprawled out before her when she reached the bottom of the stairs, because she's pretty sure towers don't work like that! Looking even more puzzled than before, she tip-toes her way through the tall grass and flowers, as if expecting a bunch of bokoblins to come stampeding out of nowhere. As much as she enjoys the random fresh air and the warm breeze on her face, it is... probably a good idea to keep moving. Yes.
FLOOR 22
This is where things get even creepier. The floors before it were passed through swiftly and easily enough, but she has to stop and stare at the paintings covering the walls in this room. It's like the artist crawled inside her head and didn't leave before stealing every single one of her fears for inspiration. Images of The Imprisoned, Demise, and Ghirahim staring in different variations of death and destruction wrought upon Skyloft, the Surface... her family and friends... Link.
And the worst part is how real it feels. Almost as if someone had taken a photograph of something that actually occurred, though she knows that is just plain silly! They defeated those monsters and sealed Demise's remains away inside the Master Sword, right?
Right?

Right?

You can tell me anything you want to about Link, but I have no reason to believe anything you say.

[ Oh, Zelda. Your words are just hurtful. But he's not bothered. ]
I believe the news should actually PLEASE you. He killed me! After all, it isn't every day someone with such a pure heart becomes a tainted, blood-thirsty monster! Why, if he had been attacking anyone else in such a beastly way, I might have been jealous.
[ He sighs, almost wistfully. ]
I had no hand in it whatsoever, in fact; it just so happened to have been an interesting coincidence. Tell me, did you know he was just waiting to be given a good excuse to murder? I've never seen him so sadistic. You might say he even ripped my heart right out of my chest~! I do hope he's taking good care of it, too, because I just couldn't allow anyone ELSE to have it, now, could I?
[ ... He isn't joking, actually. It's kind of creepy. ]

Link would never do something so fiendish. He doesn't have a cruel bone in his body. He would not be the Goddess' Chosen if he did!
[ HMPH. So there. ]
Welp that didn't take long.
I thought you'd say that. Then you had better ask him yourself... if, of course, he doesn't snap on you, dear girl. This place does strange things to people, you know. Can you REALLY know what he's been up to? Can you really vouch for him?
[ And he disappears.
Except he reappears behind Zelda, whispering in her ear. ]
I watched him, you know. It was like watching a slow fire go from a tiny ember... to blazing wildly out of control. Beautiful... and terrible. Tragic and tainted... that little spark has burned wildly out of control. Even he isn't sure of himself anymore. So unsure he's lied to you... hasn't he?
I think... I would call him charred after the fire, perhaps. Blackened. Broken. Burned up.
[ He pulls away from Zelda, gaining a bit of distance with a small jump before she can do anything. Hurt him, maybe, he isn't sure, and then abruptly, his demeanor is utterly cheerful and he spreads his arms wide, pointing to a terrible painting nearby.
Oh, my. Is that one of a very, VERY twisted Link? ... It certainly is. He seems to be slaughtering someone--and Ghirahim does not lose the chance to use the terrible image to his advantage. ]
I'd be careful, if I were you~! Before the next painting hung here is of you. ♥ Welcome to your personal cage, milady. Things here aren't what they seem.
[ With that disturbing little message and a smirk, he is gone, disappearing in a flash of diamond-like magic. ]
