Characters: Reno, and open
Setting: Floor 14 - Media
Format: Open/anything
Summary: Reno has discovered the Media Floor/Room!
Warnings: Shenanigans (hopefully)
Plopped down in a bean bag chair on his stomach lay a turk, headphones clamped down hard on his head. Reno's eyes were closed and fingers tapping to the rhythm of the music. Who knew that they had the best of Midgar's street bands here? This was a welcome surprise. All too soon, the music ended, and Reno cracked open an eye and changed the set.
It may not be booze and partners, but after several weeks in this place, he would take what he could get. It was better than the selections from Loveless. Those could get a little droning for him. Sighing, he rolled over and draped his arm over his eyes, hair curling around his neck. It was easy pretending he was just kicking it back at home this way, and way easier ignoring the weird faces that occasionally flickers on the static filled televisions.
(ooc: feel free to pester, prod, poke, annoy, or otherwise him all you want)

"I am glad you are better."

Pausing for a moment, he gave Shion a searching look. Trying to find something in his face? Perhaps. After a moment, he blinked and shook his head again. "I run into that kind of stuff on my job."

"Your job? What did you do?"

No, Shion. You should be used to Reno's sense of humor by now.Reno snorted, running a hand through his hair which was definitely not made of rubber. If they were on Gaia, he would have told Shion simply for his pride as a Turk. In this place, pride did not mean much. Even if someone in the Tower knew what he was, as attested to the fact his trunk was full of things that marked him, he wasn't sure if letting anyone else here know he was a Turk was a good idea. Not when there was still the slightest chance that this really was a set up intending on getting Reno to spill all the secrets he knew.
How much could he trust Shion, really? They may share a room, but that didn't mean he knew the guy- or does it? Going through trials together had a habit of making people grow closer, sort of comrades in arms. That was part of working in the Turks, and they were like a close family.
Either way, he had no idea if Shion could keep secrets.
"I don't want it getting around the Tower."
Besides, how would it have gone down if he'd just thrown out a casual 'Oh, I'm just a spy with a mass murder record?'

But it wasn't a job either. He nodded though, "I understand." He wondered if he should be wary, but Reno had showed no sign that he meant anything but good will towards Shion. He had helped him and Shion considered them friends, even if they hadn't known each other that well.
After all the sometimes it only took a moment to make a lifetime connection.

Looking back at the game he had abandoned playing, he shrugged. "Wanna try second player on this? It isn't bad, but I could use a partner."

"What do I have to do?"

"You sit there." He pointed to a nearby bean chair, and grabbed a second controller for him. "And watch. You are about to get a real education."
