I'll take thee away

Characters: Her Imperious Condescension and YOU
Setting: The Art Gallery
Format: Action
Summary: Realistic gore? Terrible atrocities? That's Condesce's bread and butter.
Warnings: Condesce is always a warning

[Since arriving, Condesce found it easy to grow weary and restless. When things like that happened, she wandered up to the aquarium level or, lately, this one. Art hadn't always been something she found herself appreciating, but the tower's idea of art seemed to appeal to her. She had even found a few of her dear lusus lingering about.

That's where she's seated herself -- she's pulled a chair from who knows what level and has seated herself in the center of Alternian artform, many of which depicted the skyline, the ocean, and various lusii before they got darker, depicting images of Condesce herself and the terror of the deep that would one day be the entire planet's demise.

None of it seems to bother the Empress. In fact, she seems rather at peace, drumming her talons against a large glass bowl, which seems to be housing a single cuttlefish from the aquarium level. She's not very focused on the doorway, instead tracing a rather intricate painting of Gl'bgoylb with her eyes.]

[His eyes narrow as well, but warily not dangerously.] Condesce. [His tone was polite, if barely so.]
swordofzero: (not impressed)

Nothing in particular, I was just passing through. [He met her eyes, even if her scrutiny made him uncomfortable.]

[Suzaku did indeed look at the pictures again, he felt like he was back in the army again, as if every move he made was being judged to find the flaws. Se reminded him of Cornelia a little bit, the Cornelia of long ago before her sisters death.

But she wasn't Britannian and he was the Knight of Zero now, or at least he had been before he had been brought here, not a Honourary Britannian Private trying to change things from the inside. He didn't have to prove himself to her.]
What custom would that be?
swordofzero: (guys are you even listening?)

Not all of us. [Suzaku frowned] Some humans do not mind the sight of conflict and are happy to take part in it. Most however see it as something necessary but wrong.

[He was probably a fool to believe she was actually interested in human thought processes.] Some seek to live a life with no violence at all, most are not successful.
