[Open] The Hunt is On

Characters: The Disciple and anybody willing to hunt/explore with her!
Setting: Starts off from Floor One and goes from there.
Format: Basically action, but I'll match whatever you want to do.
Summary: The Disciple just finished her oatmeal and is annoyed by how bland it is. She decides to take up hunting for some meat.
Warnings: Violence, bloodshed, killing creatures, basically your average hunting. Will update when necessary.

'This is weird.' She thought while looking at her oatmeal. The meal had cooled down some to a lukewarm temperature, and it was nice and stiff. She looked at it closely and curiously. Noting how it didn't look too bad, she then gives it a few cautious laps with her tongue, and soon starting eating the whole dish.

When done, the Disciple felt very unsatisfied, and decided she rather hunt for some real food. The problem was where, since she had no clue where she ended up. All she found was a trunk full of her personal items, an orange colored collar on her neck, and was within a very strange building. Her best guess was that The Imperial Condesce had finally tracked her down and put her here to die. Thinking of her made her growl and soon got up from her place. There was no way she was going to let that monster get to her!

The Disciple then gathers her things and walks out to explore.

"Azeroth?" She asked. "What is it like there? Do you have an unjust caste system like we do?"

"Psh ya be kiddin' me? Der be unjust caste system errywhere mon. It jus' be dependin' on where ya be. Like, take da blood elves fer instance. Dey have a hierarchy system were da nobles be runnin' tings and dey usually ain't too kind to da lower folk. But it be da same for hoomans an' some dorf clans. Fer orcs, trolls, ogah's and nite elves, it's about eldah's an' strength. If ya can be pullin' yer weight, ya get more privs." She paused to make sure her companion was following.

"Now take goblins fer example, dey all 'bout da money. Da more ya got, da more powah ya hold. Buuut it also means ya be makin' yerself a biggah target. So ya bettah be usin' dat money ta protect yerself. Gnomes an' dem goat peeps, da draenei, are more laidback. Dey 'ave more relaxed notions of da caste system. Den da worgen might as well be hoomans since dey act da same when it comes ta dat, just more hairy an' such."

She then smiled playfully and gave a thumbs up, "But da world itself ain't too bad when it's not bein' threatened to be destroyed by all dem world endin' cults an' gods an' all sorts of messed up 'fates'" She had to laugh a bit at the end.

She was amazed to hear the various races and the similar caste systems that Xue also had. During the pause, she made sure to take out a small book and start writing down her companion's history and culture. With her incredibly fast writing speed, she was able to make sure she got every word in the book before Xue finished. When her companion was done, she blew on her wet pages, shut the book when the ink dried, and put it away.

"That sounds fascinating! It makes me wish to visit it someday."

She then looks at the various stations and turns to Xue. "Maybe we can see your home within these station screens?"

"Yeah? I'd love showin' ya 'round if we ever end up der togetha. I can be showin' ya mah favorite places ta lounge." Xue smiled at the thought.

At the latter question, she looked around curiously and paced through the stations, looking over a few of them. "Dunno mon, maybe? It'd be kinda weird seein' it through one 'a dis gnome contraptions..."

Then from afar, she noticed a familiar visage, "'Ey, maybe dat one." she called as she approached. However, the once she was at the station and things were in view, she felt as if someone had hit her upside the head with a rock and she moved back in a haze, shaking her head and wincing.

"Wat da...?"

Disciple gasped and moved closer to Xue. "Are you ok? Did you see anything familiar in there?"

She looked at the station herself to see nothing out of the ordinary. At least to her anyway. She still checked to make sure Xue was ok.

Xue stumbled a little but soon regained her balance, holding her head and shaking it a little. "Aye, aye... I be fine." She narrowed her eyes in the direction of the station for a moment.

"I... dunno mon it. It be weird. I saw, well, nuting I wasn't expecting... considerin' dey be sayin' da world be destroyed but... der was more. I can't really put words inta it but someting made me feel like mah world got flipped...Weird juju mon."

"That does sound strange. For me when I looked in, all it felt like was that I remembered a couple of things within this tower. Like floors and names, and for some reason I was not too shocked seeing my world desolate like that. Probably because...I remember seeing it like that before."

She starts looking around for an exit. "I think we should get out of here. It is best to have a clear mind of this place."

"Odd, mebe it was because I just arrived? But den again. I can't even say dat be true. All tings considah'd, places like dis be really weird mon." Xue said as she followed her companion.

"I be tinking ya have a good idea. I'm not feelin' dis place right now." She added with a small breath. Truthfully the image was bothering her more than she thought it would considering how she had come to terms with her world being too close to being destroyed one way or another.

Seeing her companion still look a bit uneasy, she holds her hand and smiles, leading her to the door.

"It is ok! Since I have begun to remember parts of this tower, I know this next floor will cheer you right up!"

And when she opened it, there was the place they were seeking! The forest floor area!

Xue appreciated the action greatly and smiled back in turn. As she was led to the door and into the new floor, Xue's eyes went wide and the small smile turned into a big and excited grin.

"Now dis be more like it mon. Dis be great! I be bettin' der be all kind'a prey ta be huntin'! And den we can be havin' a good meal!"

Still holding her hand, she made sure to stay still until she was done talking. "Before we go, I gotta ask if you ate your bland meal-like concoction yet? I heard somewhere that we had to eat this or else we cannot digest anything else. I already ate mine, but I do not want you to get sick right away."

"Dat gruel earliah? Yeah, I downed it. Ain't much, but I was nevah one ta waste free food when ya don't be knowin' where yer next meal be comin' from mon." Xue smiled and gave her companion's hand a gentle squeeze, thankful for her concern.

She squeezed back and smiled. "Great! Let us go then!"

She walked onto the area and looked around cautiously. Thankfully it wasn't dark out so the dangerous creatures weren't about. She still made sure to double-check the area.

"Where do you want to start first?"

Xue smiled back, she was enjoying the company a great deal. She usually did things solo and yet she didn't seem to mind Dizzy's company one bit.

"Hmmm," Xue started as she leaned down for a few moments and touched the ground. Even if this wasn't Azeroth, hunting basics remained the same. Once she stood up, she held out a hand and checked for wind direction.

"Let's go dis way, downwind and straight into da deep area. Hopefully we don't gotta be goin' too far ta find a nice big meal for us both." she added with a warm smile.

"Right!" she stated and followed Xue.

Running within the big forest was quite interesting to her; And with each step forward, she slowly remembered the area. She soon hears two cracks of sticks breaking to her left, and looks towards that direction.

Almost instinctively... Xue disappears. Not out of the floor, but she was completely invisible. The reason why Dizzy knew she was still there was because for whatever reason, Xue never stopped holding her hand, and she could easily feel her still holding it.

Xue bent over slightly in a pouncing position, using the stealth to cover her assault should the prey foolishly stumble into their location. She was ready to strike at the blink of an eye.

Disciple thought it was weird how her hand felt like it was being held, but by a glance, saw nothing. She didn't dwell on this for long though, for full concentration was necessary for this endeavor. Feeling a shift in movement after the cracking of the sticks made her shift as well, and she freed her hand.

She quickly drew directions on where she would be heading, with a stick amongst the dirt. When done, she runs to her destination opposite of Xue.

Xue caught on quick and grinned as she followed Dizzy's lead. She'd keep herself concealed until the enemy revealed itself.

Crouching in her pouncing position, Xue's ears twitched at the sound of the rustling leaves and soon enough she noticed them parting slightly...

And then!

A hare? That was it? A tiny hare? No, there was something not right. The sounds earlier couldn't have possibly come from that creature alone...

When the hare revealed itself, she watched it run away. She then heard something breathing heavily behind her. Shocked, Disciple quickly jumped out of it's way and hid.

She didn't know what the creature was, but it was huge and roared loudly.

Well, it was now or never Xue thought. Whatever it was now knew where at least one of us was, so it was best to turn the tables and give it a surprise attack in turn!

She swiftly and silently moved through the shadows and pounced toward whatever creature lay hidden behind the bushes. If things turned ugly, she could always bail and prepare a better strategy, but right now, she was going in swords prepared to slice through everything they met.

Seeing Xue jump into action made her feel excited. She really knows her stuff!

Taking a deep breath, she quickly prepares herself and rushes the creature. She makes sure to take care of its strong legs first, but it takes a while. Just as well, since being occupied by this will have her get out of Xue's way whenever possible.

The creature in question was some sort of very large crazy bear and once in view Xue narrowed her eyes and focused on the fight at hand.

She's faced creatures larger than life in her lifespan many times but that didn't mean she ever underestimated her opponents. If there was something she learned from the wild world back in Azeroth, it was the appearances can be very deceiving. Like crazy abnormally strong gnomes

Xue smiled as Dizzy took arms into action and went for a good spot to disable the creature. Using that as an advantage, Xue sliced at it's face and kicked hard in an attempt to knock it over with Dizzy's help.

With Xue's help, the creature's limbs were finally shaking and it started to stumble. Grinning, she begins snapping each leg, having the creature collapse under its weight.

She pulled back quickly and tried examining the animal, wondering where else to harm it. Since Xue had a bigger weapon, she let her give the finishing blows.

Dizzy clearly knew what she was doing and that made Xue smile in delight. She always loved having friends who enjoyed the thrill of combat and hunting.

Once Dizzy brought the creature tumbling down, Xue didn't waste time for the coup d' grace, bringing both weapons onto the creatures throat, slicing it open and ending it's life quickly.

Xue turned to Dizzy and winked, "Ay know, joor pretty hot when ya be fightin'" she teased playfully.

Disciple felt accomplished after the animal fell and she went over to meet Xue. "That was excellent. This creature will surely last us for a week!"

When she heard her comment, she laughed embarrassingly and brushed the back of her head. "I-uh, thank you? I try not to but I guess I cannot help it." Back home, she was used to hearing comments like this. Didn't care for it, but after finding her love, she completely ignored it or smacked them.
