Characters: Issun and ALL OF YOU!
Setting: Room 3-04, the cafeteria, then... you know, everywhere else.
Format: Action please?;
Summary: Issun wakes up etc. etc. etc. aka I am having too much fun to not intro him right now
Warnings: He's a perverted bug what do you expect - also, possible spoilers for Okami!
[Room 3-04]
Ah! C'mon, you stupid box! Open up, will ya!?
[Those passin' by his room - or if you're a very unlucky duck - may notice something off about one of the trunks in there. It's rattlin' around, like something's caught - seems Issun managed to get it open once, but can't do it a second time, and he's already inside.]
Hey! Anyone! Can anyone hear me!? I need a little help, here!
[He'll keep yelling 'till he's heard, too. Sorry.]
[Cafeteria]
[Welp. He's probably heard about the nasty ass oatmeal by now - so if you're in there for something to eat, you might notice... a bowl of the stuff, floating about half an inch off the ground.
Course, if you're smart, you'll know it's not floating on its own or anything - Issun's just a pretty strong Poncle is all!
But he is having trouble seeing where he's going... Feel free to help him, y'know. Not run into tables and chairs or anything.]
[everywhere else!!]
[The extra part!! If you want your character to notice the little guy bouncing about the tower somewhere else, be my guest! He's probably searching for a way out, or at the very least, a few familiar faces.]

Yeah. Floor fifteen is a workshop. [His response is automatic.]
no subject
Leap first!
[Think later!
But he hops up and settles on Link's head; nestled between his hat and his hair. He's starting to like the kid.]

3/4?
4/4
I haven't had my breakfast yet.
no subject
Then get to eatin', sheesh!
I've got places to be, things to do!
[He's entirely being playful, of course; like I said, this kid is really starting to warm up to Issun.
But he's still staying on Link's head, bouncing idly.]
no subject
... not that he'll say anything. Not like he ever does.
Still, his limbs feel like they're filled with lead as he moves to get his breakfast -- fruit and some bread and juice. (This is something he wants to come back to. It's a small comfort, at least.)]

[Issun's quiet the whole way, but when Link finally sits down to eat, he hops back off from his perch, standing on the table and staring up at him. Link probably can't see the look on his face - Poncles are too small for that, sadly - but it's curious with just a touch of seriousness.]
What's eatin' at you, kid?

no subject
[He sits then, crossing his arms and continuing to give Link that look.]
I know we just met'n all, but if I'm gonna pal around with you, you gotta know you can tell me anything, okay?
I'm good with confidential stuff - I used to play translator for the gods!
Besides - it annoys me when people think they can't be frank with me!
no subject
It's not that I think I can't be honest. It's just... really personal. I think that makes it okay not to tell.
no subject
That's alright with me then, kid! Ya gotta keep your secrets sometimes, and if it hurts, sometimes its best to keep it to yourself!
But I want ya to know that, I like you, sprout! You gotta good head on those little shoulders of yours.
So if you need any help from someone like the Great Issun, don't be afraid to say so, got it?
no subject
Okay. Got it.
[He's just. going to eat now and recover, okok.]
no subject
Hold on a sec, sprout - look at me, okay? And hold still!
[That's said without explanation, as he unsheathes Denkomaru from his side and pulls out a scroll as well.]
no subject
I would actually go ahead and draw this for you but issun's art >>>>> my art
[He unrolls the scroll easily, the tan canvas unfurling to be about as long as one of Link's arms, and stops for a second - hopping a in place to inspect Link before getting to work.
And it doesn't take long, either - congratulations, Link, Issun just painted a very strong looking picture of you!
Strong and cute, of course; Link's a kid, after all. But he even has his sword brandished (even though the blade looks more like a traditional Japanese sword, all things considered - he can only see it's hilt from where he is)!
There's Japanese scrawled along the side as well, with his signature dotting the very bottom right.]
How's this?
I think I captured you pretty well!
no subject
You drew it so fast!
no subject
I only know of one person who can beat my brushwork, too - but even I'm better at her with brush speed!
[POSES
Even though it makes him sad, talking about Ammy like that... He's an adult, though; so like hell is he gonna show it.]
You can keep it, if ya want!
no subject
[a. ahem.]
What do you mean, Celestial Envoy?
no subject
[Oh - yeah that's gonna take an explanation.]
Y'see, kid - the Gods back home kinda need the love and praise of their people to stay in power. If people don't believe in the gods, the sun goes out, the crops won't grow, lakes dry up...
You know! Tons of bad stuff!
So, when belief starts gettin' low, they look down at the village I come from and ask the most talented artist to get up and go instill love and belief again. That's what the Celestial Envoy does!
Kinda like a priest - 'scept I don't have to stick to any rules, and I travel the countryside.
no subject
That sounds... [hmm.] Do you like being the Celestial Envoy?
no subject
That furball can't do anything without me to help her out, so while she's up in the heavens, I stay down on the ground, makin' sure she's at her best!
[Of course, if he got the choice and could, he would have easily chosen to ride the Ark up with her... but maybe it's best this way.]
