I'm not a word, I'm not a line-

Characters: Chie Satonaka and you!
Setting: Everywhere or in the hallway near her room.
Format: Either works for me.
Summary: Chie finds herself waking up in a strange place, a place which is most certainly not the Amagi Inn. She is a little confused. Thus suspicious wandering ensues and kicking. Lots of kicking.
Warnings: Kicking, comedic violence, overreactions, potential angst, the power of friendship.

She had expected to wake up to the familiar feeling of well worn blankets and sounds of Amagi Inn bustling in the early morning. It on par with her own home in the morning, it almost relaxing to listen to when she first woke up. Chie instead found herself laying on a bed, stiff and unable to move. Panic swelling through her as her mind darted through the possibilities of how she was here.

Needlessly to say, it left Chie a little confused and angry. The letter did little to really comfort her, only bring up more questions. The brunette scrambling into her clothes, sliding her glasses on before stomping out of the room. She warily poking around, torn between wanting to see someone she knew here or just wanting to lurch her way through the hallways. Chie just hoped the letter was a lie- that they were somehow in the TV world. She almost wanted this to be some overly elaborate trick. The thought of everything she, they all knew, being gone just made the sixteen year old feel queasy. She was doing her best not to dwell on it as she glanced around, adjusting her glasses with a frown across her features.

> Do you approach a leery Chie?

"The forest. The room with all the odd fish. And the eatery that keeps serving gruel..." Sakuya was just going to confuse oatmeal with gruel forever, since it was the closest non-modern era equivalent she was familiar with. "There's also the floor filled with mechanical contraptions. I haven't been here long enough to visit the entire tower yet, but even if I'd a hundred years, I don't think I would have dreamt a place like this up."

She gave Chie a smile, but it wasn't a wholehearted one. "I've met those who weren't alive, yet breathed the air. But you're right, I think; most undead don't look like ordinary people."

"No one of sound mind," agreed Sakuya. "So far, however, my investigations have turned up little. Whatever brought us here is not something I'm familiar with."

She turned her attention to Chie, looking a little concerned. "Are you all right? You're not feeling ill?"
