Characters : Yeshua and you
Setting: Floor 25 and everywhere else
Format: Prose but will follow
Summary: Yeshua is back on the tower after six months spent on his dead homeworld. Depression, but he'll hide it. Forever.
Warnings: None.
Floor 25 (Meadow)
Yeshua had woken up in the tower many months ago, and while he had thought there was nothing worst than this tower, six months spent alone on his dead homeworld… Well, let's say it made the tower look like a much better place than the first time. He’d rather be anywhere else than on his dead homeworld, alone for months, with nothing to do but… Think about his mistakes, those who died, those he couldn’t save, what he didn’t do. But it wasn’t time for depression, not just now.
He was pretty sure there were new floors since last time he had visited the tower, and this one was probably one of them. A nice one at that. He took a flower and looked at it. … It reminded him of a certain someone, who had been there but he hadn’t found back. And she had been the only bright thing in this tower. He looked at it quite… sadly, with melancholy, and explored the floor some more.
Everywhere Else
Yeshua will be exploring most the new floors, paying attention to new things, most particularly to the music. He’ll only be passing briefly by the old floors, as he already explored them in the past. Oh, and he’ll probably be spending some time in his dorm, looking through his trunk and… Trying to put some order in the mess that is his mind at the moment.

Meadow
A familiar someone. Someone she had thought was dead. She grabbed at the skirt of her dress and ran through the meadow until she spotted him. He'd probably had only tree seconds warning, from the sound of her feet in the grass before she throws her arms around him. Hopefully not tackling him to the ground.
"Y-Yeshua! I thought I'd never see you again!"
no subject
"Mary...?"
He smiled at her though, after a few seconds. He too, had thought he'd never see her again, so he lightly laid a hand against her cheek, just... Looking at her, silently.
no subject
"Yeshua... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
no subject
"Mary..." he said softly "Why are you sorry...?"
no subject
Or, at least, partly her fault. Or mostly. Depended on how you looked at it. And she was coming to terms with that, no matter how many people tried to tell her otherwise. Yeshua might be able to convince her but it was doubtful.
no subject
"No, it was not your fault, Mary." he said quietly "I've been to our homeworld... What remains of it. That's not how the destruction was meant to happen. Nothing, not even ruin should have remained."
no subject
"It was."
no subject
"No, it was not."
He pauses and pick the best words to comfort her. Something she, hopefully, won't be able to counter.
"Even if you had started Zarathustra, it affects only our lower domain. Whatever it is that destroyed our universe came from the outside, Zarathustra wouldn't have changed that."
no subject
So she just won't reply and keep holding onto him.
no subject
But then he tries to lift her face up, because. He can't let her drown in sadness, moreso for something she didn't do.

He looks at her. He's... sad, very sad to see her like. She should never be like that.
"Don't guilt yourself. You've done everything you could, but not even Wilhelm could have stopped this Mary."
no subject
Having him here was that much better already, though. She would gladly give up anything to be able to spend more time with hi like this, sans the depression.

Dorm
But that was a thought for later. As the seemingly young boy opens the door, he'll find the Brown Testament sitting on the edge of one of the beds and watching for a moment before speaking up in a very familiar voice.
"Yeshua...you too."
Re: Dorm
But... This one felt different. And his voice... It reminded him of someone, but he couldn't just say who at the moment. He stared suspiciously at the Testament and spoke quietly. It was obviously someone he knew, and he wanted to know-
"... Who are you?"
no subject
"It's me, Allen."
no subject
He opens wider eyes and stares at him. That... wasn't right. Wilhelm... No, thinking to it, Wilhelm wouldn't have made more Testaments. Not after what happened last time. And the 'you don't recognize me' part...
"What happened to you?"
no subject
He drops the mask, letting it disappear as it leaves his hand, and gestures around the room in annoyance. It's pretty clear he's not too happy with his situation, but also confused by what Yeshua is saying.
no subject
He pauses and looks quietly at Allen. He's not sure what's more worrying, Allen being a Testament or him acting as though this was the most natural thing in the world.
"How did you become a Testament?"
no subject
"Protecting Ms. Uzuki, three years ago. I took an attack from the KOS-MOS archetype for her and Wilhelm intercepted me after I died."
It was still a painful memory, both literally and figuratively. Not only did thinking about it generally cause him to vividly remember the pain of his death injury, but he had also lost a good deal that day, despite not ceasing to exist.
no subject
Yet he can feel Allen is not lying to him. It's not his type, and he'd have whatsoever no reason to lie to him. But on the other hand- That cannot be the truth. He has perfect memories and this is certainly not what happened.
"Kevin died then and became his Testament. Not you."
no subject
"That's what Kevin planned, but...I wasn't supposed to be there that day."
no subject
He just doesn't know what to make of that. It didn't really make any sense, unless... Something he wasn't ready to believe just yet.
"What did Wilhelm do to you?"
no subject
He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees and his chin on the back of his folded hands with a sad, thoughtful expression.
"I couldn't just stay dead knowing it would leave her in danger, so I accepted, although that's already obvious."
no subject
Except that it is not what happened. That's... Wrong. He looks down at Allen and speaks softly.
"But that's not what happened. Kevin died, and became the Red testament. You remained alive and saved Shion from him".
