Summary: Minako's wandering, getting used to the Tower. Training will happen in the forest.

FLOOR 38 || LOUNGE
[Minako collapses face-down into a beanbag after she enters the floor, the volleyball in her hand set down beside her. She had just finished a little bit of exploring and, well...]

Ughhh, I can't believe that out of forty-one floors in this tower, there isn't a single gym that I can practice in.

[She lets out a long-suffering sigh.]

I guess I could go to the forest and just. Jog around or train or something.

FLOOR 10 || AQUARIUM
[Distractions are...distracting. Floor 6 is her ultimate goal, as the forest on floor 32 is apparently a no-powers zone, which would not be helpful for training. But this aquarium she comes across along the way is fascinating. Beautiful. Calming.

Minako slowly walks the winding pathways, letting her fingers lightly graze the free-standing water every once in a while. There is some sort of allure about this place that makes her think she'll be back to visit again. It's just her and the fish here, and sometimes she needs her alone time.

She starts humming.]

FLOOR 6 || FOREST
[It was a little weird, carrying her naginata around during the day when she's so used to working behind the scenes, under the cover of the night. But the Tower gives her that 'luxury' now. And most people here didn't bat an eye at it anyways. So now she's at the forest, and she's training vigorously.

First she works through physical trials, summoning various Personae to throw targets that she can deflect, reflect, or dodge. Then comes the precision and accuracy tests-- she works on her sync up with each Persona, trying to get reacquainted with each of them as she tests how well they understand each other, and how well they respond to her commands.

After a short break, she's back in action, practicing aerial strikes. Might want to be careful that you don't catch her off guard.]

[There's a gunshot and then one of her targets is blasted out of the air by a Zionga.]

[Ken walks out from the trees, just staring at her.]

[She tenses at the sound, automatically hefting up her naginata into its ready position at any intruder. When she sees him, though, her whole body falls still. This would've happened eventually, their meeting...but no amount of time would have prepared her for it.

Wrongwrongwrong her Perosnae scream, so loud that she barely hears herself speak.]

[Ken grips his spear - it's been put back together rather poorly, but it's at least holding on.]

You're the other one... and you're one of the Kirijo's pets too. I was hoping you weren't.

[He eyes her SEES armband suspiciously, holding his spear at the ready.]

[She's begging him in her mind-- please Ken, don't make me do this. Don't make me fight you. But she knows his stance, and she knows that he's going to attack.

The only other option is to talk him down.]

What would you have done if I wasn't? Is there even a version of Minako or Minami you would accept?

Floor 6 - Feel free to 4th wall him, if Minato would know about Donald Duck

[Suddenly, three tall Duck wizard. He's looking at her curiously.]

Are you a summoner?

[Minako whirls around because that voice-- and then her jaw drops.

Duck. Ronald Duck. As in Ronald Duck from Quisneyland--

Wait, no, not really, now that she gets a closer look at him. But he sure looks like Ronald Duck.

...kind of, yeah. Where I'm from they're called Personae.

[Donald looks over at the figures and man those things are much scarier than the summons Sora did.]

Well, it reminded me of someone I knew...anyway.

[He points at himself.]

Donald Duck! I'm King Mickey's Court Wizard. What's your name?

[She tilts her head curiously before perking up.]

A court wizard? That's so cool! [She drops a clumsy curtsy just for politeness' sake. Also wow his name is so close to Ronald Duck's...]

I'm Minako Arisato, it's nice to meet you Mister Duck!

[Oh good, you hit him right where it gets him the kindest - COMPLIMENTS. Gosh darn it Donald sure loves being told he's cool.]

Ha ha ha. The best court wizard there is too!

[As an example he makes a bolt of lighting fall onto a log...which catches fire. WOOPS WATER SPELL okay everything is good. He laughs again, this time a little more to cover up his mistake.]

Floor 38

You play volleyball?

[A Minato is walking over to her. Judging from his SEES armband and generally nice expression, it's obvious which Minato he is.]

[She looks up from her faceplant and waves her fingers at him.]

Yup! It was either that or tennis. I like volleyball better since it helped with team coordination and my jumps. Which club did you join, Minato-kun?

I joined the kendo club. It was either that, swimming or track. I thought kendo would help me a lot.

[Plus, he have his reasons to pick it over the other clubs.]

Ooh, to practice using your weapon? You don't have a naginata like me, do you?

Nope. I use a sword. I can use others, but I prefer the sword.

Floor 6

[busstopsign]

[WHAT IS WITH EVERYONE PRACTICING IN THE FOREST, Shinji just sighs a little, but considering what happened this week...well needless to say, he's not exactly frowning either. Shinji smiling can be a little scary, mind you. What would Aki say about him now?

Regardless, he chooses to watch her quietly for a short while before speaking.]

Place your left foot more to the front, and tilt it towards your body. You'll get a better swing and balance that way.

[She hears his heavy footfalls, but continues on her workout without pause. He knows she'll stop to listen when he wants to speak.]

Mmmkay.

[She shifts to accommodate his advice, and after an nod to Kartikeya, takes on another arrow storm that he summons, blocking and cutting through it more efficiently and fluidly. Once the barrage is over, Minako relaxes.]

You're taking the comment much better than Aki did anyway. He'd probably just want to punch me to prove he was doing the right thing.

[Wow Shinji, it's almost as if you miss him a little.]

[She hides a laugh behind her hand. Because it's kind of true.]

Well, I don't think he minded either way. He'd always use your jabs as an excuse to work out more.

[Minako sets the butt of her naginata on the ground, canting her hip to the side.]

That's right, we did, didn't we? Do you want to do that now~?

He looks back at her, the weapon he is carrying over his elbow.]

A young and athletic girl such as yourself should be able to improvise with ease... there are a great many areas that others use for their training purposes such as the cathedral or the meadow. Structures can be used for more than what they appear to be used for... the human body is quite adaptable.

Oh, I know. I just don't want to disturb anyone in those places. I mean, the cathedral and the meadow are probably the quietest, safest places to hang out in the whole tower.

The peace of such places is in the eye of the beholder. I have encountered more than my share of those using the meadow for training, and I do recall a rather substantial brawl in the cathedral... [never mind that he was involved in that particular brawl]

Of course, your adherence to the perceived sanctity of such places is appreciated, I'm sure.
