Characters: The Anguished One, and anyone else pulled in.
Setting: Floor 38, the upper lounge, and floor 36, where the staircase crumbles.
Format: Any is fine, it's up to you guys. :|b
Summary: For all he knows, he fell during the fight with Polaris. Time to dwell on this! And then later, getting stumped by stairs.
Warning: Sorta-jittery staralien waxing poetic on his angst, followed by also jumping being a very new activity.

The world he knew was now out of his reach. It was gone from him, he could feel it.

Awakening in such a condition had left him more rattled than he had ever felt, but it wasn't the sinking despair of failure, not really...it was how cut off he was. His instinct had been to call for his demons, or to teleport back to the the Shining One's side, but nothing answered. He was alone in a strange room, within some other world, and last he could recall was the true face of Polaris staring them down. Only then did he truly despair at the amount of loss he'd suffered, but it wasn't the same sort of terror most would have felt. He had known their gamble from the start. If they had failed, then he was forced to accept it.

But, why was he still conscious? Was this some strange punishment, enacted by Polaris? Maybe he was still at the record, and the others were outside, still fighting? His priority became to find some sort of view outside, but when he arrived on the lounge floor, his insides seemed to still. The Anguished One approached the glass, peering out in to the nothingness...then sat down in front of it, curling his arms around his knees and kept watching.

He decided then that he had been foolish for ever trying to challenge Polaris.

After spending quite some time sorting out the gravity of his current situation, the Anguished One decided to try and motivate himself for exploration- but only made it to floor thirty-six before he hit a snag. Once he hovered in to the floor, he found...his feet on the ground? And despite his best efforts, he could not get himself up and flying once again. While this was odd and troubling, that wasn't as bad as when he eventually came to the edge of the staircase, when jumping became required. He could walk of course (even if he did so like it was weird), but...he'd never leaped anywhere without hovering or flying to make the difference. Was he willing to chance that? Would it be better to first wonder about his density on this new world...? Or was he simply overthinking it?

Regardless, he'd be stuck in awkward contemplation mode while standing at the edge for quite some time, at this rate.

When Hades appeared, Sayaka nearly shifted into a battle stance - except Jin was using her as a cane so she had to restrain herself again. _{People say she has no self control. Look at this, this is UTMOST self control.}

Also this monster out of nowhere seemed, hm, slightly more benevolent than the last.

She grits her teeth, not getting the half of what's up here - that guy's a star? "Stars, whatever, who cares. You still called that thing out when he was just fine!"

To say Alcor was a lot more uncomfortable would be a gross understatement. The second Hades spoke the name Jumyouboshi, he re-curled himself up in to a vaguely fetal shape in the air. That name was probably his least loved title, and he usually has people call him Anguished One.

The god's embarrassing vouching, and the human's excitable nature just made Alcor even more uncomfortable, once again sinking his chin in to his chest. He had that nerves feeling once again, but he wasn't...nervous. How bizarre. Emotions were tricky things.

"I am still used to those housing gods to be under possession, not this phenomenon you call 'Persona'. My..." How was he supposed to explain this? "Moros is my antithesis. Simply sensing the other filled me with the urge to act. I was not aware I could not directly sever him from the human he hides within."

Stupid cowardly doom god grumble mumble.

"Ohm so you're rivals huh." Okay, that he could understand. Some days, he totally felt like he could punch Tatsuya a couple of times. Only this was on a godhood level and probably included a lot more HATE. "...well worse than rivals. Opposite sides of a coin?" Yeah, that made sense. Eikichi could get the whole good and bad side things with all the manga and anime he'd watched.

Now he kinda felt bad scolding a Star-God guy, and let out a small sigh.

"Look...once we find a way to get him outta there, you can beat him up all you want. Hell, I'll even help you out."

To be totally fair, Tatsuya probably should have explained how Personas actually worked when he met the guy earlier. Guess what he was kicking himself over now?

"I should have explained it to you better before. ...I'm sorry."

It would be totally understandable for Eikichi to boggle about how Tatsuya knew an Alien Star God prior to this whole mess...

Oh don't worry Tatsuya. The minute he had a minute with you, you were getting a million questions regarding how you knew this Alien Star God.

Well it was awesome to hear that the assault was totally just a misunderstanding because a Star couldn't control his instincts. Awesome. He rolled his eyes, but then did a double-take at Eikichi.

"Get it out?" Yeah hi Jin is still here and doesn't really like being referred to as a vessel or something fancy that.

"You can't just 'get it out;' you guys have Personas too, you can't just get rid of it," said with a sneer.

--Persona. The name finally clicks, and Sayaka stays quiet while trying to bring herself up to speed. That's right. The pills Jin had let her try were originally meant to keep a Persona in control, and like hell she's assured they need to be. But that other Persona seemed to be reigning itself in.

The star guy's acting like he didn't know anything of this beforehand, _{but that still doesn't mean she wants to punch him any less.}

"It is not your fault, Tatsuya. I should have stayed my hand." Oh, wait. Was this... embarrassment he was feeling? It was sort of like when the Shining One had his petite, redheaded friend be 'sexy' towards Yama, and that had been her loudest proclamation...

Hopefully that was it. He didn't have a navel to show if it wasn't.

"Your persona is not like the others. I may not be quite understanding of this phenomenon, but it is not integrated in to your will. Moros himself spoke as if the process were unnatural." Alcor unfurled himself, keeping his gaze on Jin. "It does you harm unlike theirs. Your lifespan is so..."

He didn't want to say the obvious.

Quick Tatsuya, save the situation.

"...Actually," He turned to Jin, suddenly reaching for his lighter and messing with it, trying to think, "it's possible to get it out. I don't know if he's here right now, but we know someone who could do that."

Assuming they could find Igor, of course.

"Problem is we haven't seen a single blue door all the time we've been here," Eikichi added. "It's either him or his boss. He switched Persona powers for someone once..." but see, this problem brought them right back to square one.

Someone ELSE would need to take in Moros and that wasn't going to happen. Igor and an outright removal was definitely their best bet right now.

"Just one prob. Could mean you'd lose all your Persona powers." Eikichi had no idea that Jin might have actually wanted this, mind you, considering he himself would have had trouble doing the sacrifice that Yukino did for Jun.

Sorry Alcor, Jin is suddenly ignoring you after rolling his eyes disdainfully. He was very aware of the fact that his lifespan was tiny, thank you very much.

"You think I wanted them--?!" His temper flared, and he actually let go of Sayaka's shoulder to stand up straighter and clench his fist.

"This is stupid. I ain't gonna stand around and listen to your bullshit hope speeches. Just tell that asshole to stay away from me." And he pointed to Alcor, rubbing the side of his neck with one hand as he turned away.

While Jin began stalking off, Sayaka took a threatening step forward, holding a hand out towards Alcor - in which a sword appeared as a bit of, uh, keen punctuation.

"If there's any kind of next time, it won't matter how many fancy names you've got, buddy."

A pause.

"...and keep your teleport trick to yourself!"

With a dramatic flourish, Sayaka takes off too.

Goddamn, between Jin kind of being an ass at offered help (he really didn't blame him about being mad in the first place, considering) and that girl summoning a sword from nowhere, Tatsuya was at a loss for what to do here. He settled for waving goodbye at the two of them while different parts of his brain fought for dominance about what to do next.

Apollo was disturbed by this pattern...first, Thanatos was sealed within a boy, and now Moros, another child of Nyx, was sealed in this one unwillingly. What could it possibly mean?

"I only have so many names to give, and I would rather not give many of them."

Oh, wait. She was threatening him.

Uh?

Alcor just watched her go with the closest thing to a bewildered expression he could make, gradually touching down so he was hovering just above the ground. With the two more...antagonistic bluenettes gone, he seemed to have finally relaxed.

"...I didn't want her getting hurt in the crossfire." Alcor frowned deeper, and touched at his face. "She was talking about my eyes earlier..."

"Can you blame her?" Eikichi had stopped his share of guys fighting each other, and this was a pretty common thing, all considered. Only with less Stars and powers. He watched the two of them walk off with his arms crossed and sighed. Whatever. They tried.

"You nearly killed him. Most people would do the same if they saw their friends attacked."
