[Suzaku watched the creature with quiet wonder, it was so small. How had he survived even this long, without being even accidentally killed. He nodded]

I am, I can carry you if you wish."

It'd be great of ya!

[In one leap, he bounces from his lily perch up onto Suzaku's shoulder - giving him an unnoticeable smile, due to his size.]

The name's Issun - what's yours?

Suzaku nodded as he jumped onto his shoulder, tilting his head a little to talk to him. "Nice to meet you Issun, I'm Kururugi Suzaku." The water was rising, it would be up to his knees soon.

"I guess just making us murder each other wasn't fun enough."

Guess we were taking too long or something, heh.

[Maybe he should have learned to swim when his grandpa wanted to teach him, hmm...]

No big deal though, right? Just a little water!

I guess so. Perhaps they are bored. [Suzaku looked around, the maze seemed to be all one level so there was no hope of getting to higher ground. He focused on keeping moving.] Yeah, no big deal. [He took off his cloak, the water was beginning to weigh it down and he wouldn't be able to swim in it, he put it in his backpack.] I don't think it's stopping any time soon though.
