Let's, um.
[B1UH.]
We can worry about stopping, um, them after we get out of here, right? They've... they've clearly built this place just for this... everything looks too new...
[And it does. At least it wasn't a labyrinth of the type that you would find hunting around in ancient catacombs, because he was pretty sure he'd have killed himself by now if that were the case. But it's not, and... shit. What was he talking about again?????]
...so if there's any way to get at them... it's probably in the main Tower...
[It seems he's been working this out for a while now, and-- yes, he should have kept his mouth shut.]

If that is truly what you want to do, Zahhak. But I think it would be wiser to focus on the current situation than set any unrealistic goals. It would be an absolute tragedy if someone were to decide they want to kill you while you are planning your great revolution against the operators of the Tower.
[And then she huffs, turning to Karkat. She has no clue if his powers will work right now, but might as well suggest it so maybe he'll stop whining:] If it is bothering you that badly, can't you give the pain to someone else? [Does his Heart thing work like that? She's not sure. She just knows she has a headache anyways, so taking Karkat's wouldn't really make much of a difference.]

Hahahahaha!
HONK.
[Whoops, guess he actually did.]
[Oh, well. He was getting fucking bored anyway. You know, for stalking down your prey, imagining them bleeding out and mutilated could only entertain you for so long. It would be at least a little helpful if they'd talk about something interesting. For crying out loud, throw a guy a motherfucking bone here!
Gamzee was close enough to their heels to be visible, now. He was done with waiting, he was done with prancing around with his would-be victims before finally offing them. He knew these fuckers and that made it even sweeter to make their heads roll.
Finally, he bolted, clubs raised in both arms and a dagger he'd pilfered from the body of his own world's pissblood in his bag. Whoever was closest would be the first to go, was the gleeful decision. As he ran, the nearest body approached his line of fire nicely.
Well, what do you know? It was the fucking spider.]

Gamzee.]
Jesus fu--
[Karkat barely has time to react, immediately adopting an expression of terror as he's overwhelmed by the indigo, dropping straight to the ground like a sack of potatoes to try and keep Gamzee from colliding straight into him.
He stammers for a short moment, taken completely by surprise. Unfortunately, as dangerous as he was, Karkat would always be a lover and not a fighter. The entire time he had been wandering the labryinth, he had been using his powers to hold down his victims while someone else did the dirty work.
That wouldn't work on a highblood -- but he had never expected to face one, let alone this one. But now he's grounded, fumbling for his sickles just in case, staring up half-angry half-scared out of his fucking pan.]
What the hell is your malfunction???

[Equius did not know enough about this Gamzee to comprehend the HoNk, but he could guess that there was someone back there. There was someone back there. The amazement that his paranoia was actually right was dulled somewhat by the fact that oh shit, there's someone actually back there. When Karkat stops, so does he, dropping back almost instinctively; arrows are not short-range weapons, okay? He can't help it if he has to move back for tactical reasons, Kanaya.]
[And soon enough his expression matches exactly with Karkat's, frozen at the sight; now he knew who this was. It was the Gamzee, the indigo Gamzee, and it was slamming him with some unexpected and really unwanted feels -- but fortunately, he was able to snap out of it when the highblood started moving. Fortunate because if he hadn't, Gamzee probably would have pranced right over Karkat (who was playing dead or... something, Equius didn't really want to question his methods), leaving the path to Kanaya and himself wide open.]
[He ducks out of the way and raises his bow, just in case; but it seems as if Karkat is on his feet again, so you know what, he trusts the cerulean more than himself or Maryam to do the talking.]
