Summary: BACKDATED. Eridan is nursing rather morbid thoughts, and it's up to Feferi to smack some good sense into his empty head. Or, conversely, help him put those morbid thoughts in action. You know, either's cool.
Warning: Talk of suicide, talk of gore, talk of many unpleasant things. Will add specific warnings as necessary.

[Eridan walked over to the ramp, looking out at the horizon and letting the breeze catch up with him. He wasn't really afraid of heights, all things considered, but he had to admit it was a long drop. He walked slowly along the ramp, steps small and mind far, far away.

Really, it seemed like all he'd been doing lately was think himself into a knot.

But it's okay... he'll deal. He always deals, anyway, it's just a matter of putting things into perspective and figuring out what to do next. Willow's offer weighted in his mind, a lot, but though she was nice, he couldn't bring himself to involve her. It wasn't really anything she should concern herself with. It wasn't anything he should involve anyone else into, to be honest. Maybe... maybe once he was done, he could talk to Fef about.

Maybe.

Depending on how she was feeling. She needed him to stay strong, he couldn't just... come undone at the seams, no matter how raw and tender she made him feel.]

[ Feferi must have some sort of sixth sense for figuring out how to run into Eridan- either that or, you know, she's just being his friendly neighborhood stalker. It's out of love, though. Really.

She makes her steps audible, at least, so he'd be able to hear her coming. She practically skips across the stone ramp, not a care in the world. ]

[He tenses, at first. He always does, now. He always tenses when he feels someone coming and then he relaxes right back when he sees her and he hears her and he's smiling at her that utterly stupid, smitten smile that he will not own up to no matter what people say. His face is not made to look that way.]

[His arm spreads a little, in tacit invitation, and thank god for sunglasses, otherwise he might embarrass himself. More than usual at least.]

[ She takes his hand, because Feferi does what she wants, and smiles right back. ] Where are you headed, Eridan~? Outside?

Yeah.

[Eridan smiles at her, soft and still a little distant. It's more because his head is elsewhere but here than anything else, though.]
