Characters: Sora (OU), OPEN
Setting: Covers the entire week after the event ends. Starts in his dorm, can move anywhere in the Tower.
Format: I'll follow your lead!
Summary: Sora awakens after the end of the event, determined to find his friends, the people who helped him, and...anyone, really.
Warnings: Some (likely vague) allusions to Sora's punishment, probably bucketloads of sad, Kingdom Hearts is suffering, ect ect.
Notes: Sora is going to be looking for people to talk to in general, but he's also going to ESPECIALLY be searching for people who sponsored him...even the ones he doesn't know personally yet. He needs to say thank you, after all!
[Dorms, Room 1-06, Immediately after the event ends.]
[Sora couldn't remember falling asleep. That's his first thought, when he opens his eyes, finding himself back in his room. This was where he had woken up before. Days ago? Awhile ago, anyway.
He sits up and looks around, but no one is there. Again. He does see something different, though. One of the wooden swords that he and Riku used to play with, sitting on top of his trunk, and a note.
Thank you for participating in our experiment. Detailed results will be forthcoming.
What was that supposed to mean? Hadn't it already...?
That thought gives him pause. He slowly puts the sword and the note back onto the trunk, letting himself consider just what it might mean, if the experiment hadn't been over the last time he woke up in the tower.
What if it really hadn't been? Maybe that meant everything he had seen was a trick, maybe everyone was-!
Sora left the sword where it was and ran for the door, straight to the hallway, and looked all around...and he spotted someone. He wasn't even sure who it was, but it was definitely someone, and Sora had never been so happy to see another person in his life.]
[Anywhere in the Tower, anytime during the week.]
[It wasn't long before Sora figured out what had happened, of course. That being trapped in the tower while everyone else was...gone...was just an illusion. A consequence for not making it to the end of that experiment or something. He went through the ones that had been posted on the network, and was relieved when his own wasn't among them. His friends didn't need to see that, and...why should it be a big deal, anyway, if everything was okay now? Everyone was alive and safe. Right?
Maybe it wasn't that simple, but he had plenty of ways to distract himself. Starting with finding all of his friends, and all of the people who had sponsored him. He needed to thank the latter, and talk to the former, and...really, he just wanted to make sure that people were okay, regardless of whether or not he knew them.
Besides, the last thing he wanted to do right now was spend time alone.]

He can't lie to himself; right now, he doesn't want to go anywhere, except maybe to find Kairi so that all three of them can be together for awhile. But he's also...tired. Maybe, right now, he just doesn't want to do much of anything, no searching or fighting or running around. Maybe that was okay.
He lifts his head and backs up a little, just enough to wipe away the tears and take a deep breath. It might be good to sound just a little bit normal when he speaks, after all.]
Do you mind if I just...stay in here, for a little while? Unless you were about to go run off and do something.
[Though, from the looks of things, it doesn't seem like Riku should be doing much of anything at all right now.]

He leans back as well when Sora does, not even bothering with whipping away those tears as he shoots him a flat look (or attempts to... mostly he's just looking tired - he can't really honestly believe that Riku is even thinking about getting up right now. He shifts a bit though to give Sora some more space - the bed might be a bit of a tight fit for both of them, but... they'll make it work somehow.]

Sora was relieved, honestly, when Riku didn't get up to leave. Besides, he looked like he needed to rest...it didn't look like he had slept in days. And Sora was pretty tired himself. He had slept in the last few days, sure, but there hadn't been anything restful about it. He adjusts his position when Riku moves - it is a tight fit, but they can make it work. Maybe it was good, in this case, that Sora was from from a much earlier point in time than Riku; he was still small, and even if there wasn't much space, he was able to find a way to fit.
And it's a good thing, too, because he really doesn't want to go anywhere.]

Sora is maybe kind of absolutely right - he may have forced himself to rest, may have spent just a few hours throwing around in fitful dreams that really can't be called sleep.
He exhales as he shifts some more to lay on his side - a hazy thought of letting have Sora more space crossing his mind (even though he's the larger one and it's his own bed, but hey, what's logic) even as his eyes slips closed and the temptation to stop thinking at all, to follow the call of sleep regardless of Sora's presence here, is getting too strong to ignore, even if he is still trying to fight it a little, if the way his eyelids are fluttering is any indication.
It's more kind of a token effort though... the last week has been to exhausting on any and all levels for him to keep up.]
