Setting: Room 2-2 and all around the tower - jump in wherever
Format: Starting with prose but action prefered
Summary: Mondo doesn't take the letter well. Or being trapped somewhere with no escape. ...Again.
Warnings: ~~You are entering a world of swearing unlike any you have ever known.~~

After waking in bed and reading the 'welcome letter', Mondo crumples it up and tosses it to another end of Room 2-2. He's determined not to believe what it says, he won't accept it - but it is now stuck in his head. He doesn't care if it goes in someone else's things or even hits someone, he isn't paying attention to what or who else is around him, nothing but the trunk at the end of the bed he woke up in. There has to be something in there saying it was all a joke right? But it's only his personal things, clothes, a flag...he does, however, take the wooden practice sword.

He runs around a few floors, looking for any way out, but of course finds nothing. All the while frustration sinks in, and he continues to think about the letter - 'your world has been destroyed', but that should be impossible, if it was true, then the whole gang was gone - even the others from Hope's Peak. It doesn't matter to him that he should have already died there, if he's alive now then it doesn't make any sense, and he's just not smart enough to even think about trying to figure it out. It's probably something new by Monobear anyway. It's all about his growing anger and nervousness.

Finally he snaps and takes a punch at a window, but it has no effect. So he punches again, and again, repeating until his knuckles hurt and he remembers the sword he's carrying, swinging that at full force to the window and shouting.

"Ah, shit!! This some kind of sick fucking joke?! You hear me, you fucker?! Aa?! This is always when you pop up and say 'you're breaking school rules' or 'a body's been found', right?! Don't mess with me, bear! I'm sick of it, I'm not gonna take your shit anymore! I'm not doing or watching another punishment, I'm gonna kill you this time, you just fucking watch!!"

He certainly isn't going to let the fact one window can't be broken stop him, he'll be found on multiple floors trying to break through windows with his wooden sword, shouting various strings of profanities and death threats to Monobear.

Sayaka's just gonna blink as Mondo attacks a window, not exactly surprised by someone having a freakout - but a bit by the form it took.

"Man, and I thought I had anger issues."

He stops when he hears that remark (somehow, through the banging on the window).

"What'd you say? Aa?!"

But as he turns to look at her, he realises - crap, it's a girl, and he needs to control his temper around girls...

Oh, whoops, caught!

..well, getting spotted doesn't actually cow her that much. Sayaka's own mischievous streak has gotten a little meaner in the time she's been here, and you kind of lose your sense of intimidation of angry people after getting magic powers.

"Weeeell, I could repeat it. Not surprised you wouldn't have heard me right over all that."

"It's - it's not a big deal, okay?! Who wouldn't be pissed off here?!"

And as much as he tries to act calm, his voice only rises further...

Okay, that near-voice crack is actually worrying. Considering the tower, something legit might've happened to this guy and he was just really ridiculously expressing it.

..Sayaka's uncomfortably reminded of the time she was freaking out about a poster and a girl prodded her into a fistfight from needling. She'll, uh.. back off a notch.

"..yeah, okay, I get you. The windows are kind of a lost cause, though."

"...Guess I kind of figured by now. But, maybe one of them's weaker than the others!!"

He needs to get back home, he has a gang to run, and if his being gone causes them to break up, he'll have broken his promise to his brother. It's not just any promise either, it was his dying wish! The fact he's pretty sure he died at home? Irrelevant and doesn't make any sense if he's alive now. Besides that, the tower is reminding him an awful lot of where he was trapped just before it and that's more than just unsettling.

He just wants out.

Sayaka worries the guy'll genuinely jump off if she tells him about the open-air floors - though he's bound to see one eventually, 'eventually' might be the ticket between hurling oneself off the tower or not.

"Well, maybe. If you find the lucky spot, look out if any of the dudes with red collars show up."

"'Dudes with red collars'? What for?"

Sudden flashbacks to Monobear and the school rules make him instantly wary of these red collared people.

"They're like.."

She taps the side of her head meaningfully.

"..they're like zombies. I mean, I haven't seen them eating any brains, but there's nobody home and they're basically spooky tower goons."

"Shit, they'll jump you?"

That doesn't exactly sound appealing, he'll be looking over his shoulder constantly from now on.

"Usually, they're just.. there. But they'll come after you sometimes, when there's stuff going on with the big bads in charge. And trying to pry open a hole in a window might ping them."

Gotta give fair warning, right?

"What's even the point of having windows if we can't go out."

He scoffs, kicking at the floor as he sticks his hands in his pockets.

"Just makes you want out more."

Sayaka clenches her teeth, into a bitter grin.

"That's right. I think that's the point."

"Thought they said they were saving us, isn't that kind of the opposite?"

He won't deny the large possibility that it's all just over his head, though.
