Characters: Mondo Oowada and you?!
Setting: Room 2-2 and all around the tower - jump in wherever
Format: Starting with prose but action prefered
Summary: Mondo doesn't take the letter well. Or being trapped somewhere with no escape. ...Again.
Warnings: ~~You are entering a world of swearing unlike any you have ever known.~~

After waking in bed and reading the 'welcome letter', Mondo crumples it up and tosses it to another end of Room 2-2. He's determined not to believe what it says, he won't accept it - but it is now stuck in his head. He doesn't care if it goes in someone else's things or even hits someone, he isn't paying attention to what or who else is around him, nothing but the trunk at the end of the bed he woke up in. There has to be something in there saying it was all a joke right? But it's only his personal things, clothes, a flag...he does, however, take the wooden practice sword.

He runs around a few floors, looking for any way out, but of course finds nothing. All the while frustration sinks in, and he continues to think about the letter - 'your world has been destroyed', but that should be impossible, if it was true, then the whole gang was gone - even the others from Hope's Peak. It doesn't matter to him that he should have already died there, if he's alive now then it doesn't make any sense, and he's just not smart enough to even think about trying to figure it out. It's probably something new by Monobear anyway. It's all about his growing anger and nervousness.

Finally he snaps and takes a punch at a window, but it has no effect. So he punches again, and again, repeating until his knuckles hurt and he remembers the sword he's carrying, swinging that at full force to the window and shouting.

"Ah, shit!! This some kind of sick fucking joke?! You hear me, you fucker?! Aa?! This is always when you pop up and say 'you're breaking school rules' or 'a body's been found', right?! Don't mess with me, bear! I'm sick of it, I'm not gonna take your shit anymore! I'm not doing or watching another punishment, I'm gonna kill you this time, you just fucking watch!!"

He certainly isn't going to let the fact one window can't be broken stop him, he'll be found on multiple floors trying to break through windows with his wooden sword, shouting various strings of profanities and death threats to Monobear.

He jumps a bit at the sudden voice, if anyone sees him in that white...bodysuit...well, they better damn well not tell anybody. He turns, grabbing the first thing from his trunk he gets his hands on, which is...a can of hairspray.

"Aa?! What d'you want?!"

No, he isn't going to calm down.

Why would he when they all wake up like that? Yu sat there on his own bed, katana by his side. Really, if things were to become violent, who would win? Not like he sought it inside their dorm room, or at all. He merely raises an eyebrow at the display of both anger and confusion. Calm down, man. They're on the same side.

"To welcome you," he began, wondering just what the guy was planning on doing with a can of hairspray to begin with. "Seems like we're going to be roommates."

It's only polite, after all.

That makes him stop for a moment. At least whoever this guy is, he's calm and just trying to be nice, apparently. Mondo can get behind that...but he's still pissed off and disoriented.

"Roommates?"

He finally takes a look around and realises that yes, it's definitely a shared dorm type of room.

"You always that calm about it?"

Yu spared a nod, not yet breaking the calm facade as he spoke--let the other get used to his surroundings. IT was a lot to take in at once, especially with all the lies.

"Most of the time," he shrugged it off. There was no need to mention how he'd reacted to certain situations before, right?

"Someone has to if we want to find out what's going on."

Now that's exactly what he wants to know. Who's idea was it to put him in some weird place? In some weird outfit no less...well, at least he found his gang coats and suhc in the trunk.

"What the hell is going on?!"

"None of us know for sure. If I knew, I'd tell you." He wanted to know, too. Everyone he met wanted to know the truth. Though those clothes... No, not going to judge so quickly, but his group and gang members generally do not get along so well.

"Many have been trying to uncover the truth for as long as they've been here."

Meet the leader of Japan's largest bousouzoku gang, Yu...he likes Maltese dogs and has a ten time streak of being rejected by girls. He's quite like Kanji and yet at the same time just the opposite.

"So just that fucked up letter, huh?" He scoffs. "You believe that shit?"

...Meet the one who could have seven at once, Mondo, and that wasn't even including the wife of his other self. He moved to his feet, shaking his head. If that was what the newcomer thought, he was sorely mistaken.

"iie, I don't." For the first time, he shows a flicker of something other than the eternal calm in his eyes. "If it were true, there would have been some solid evidence given by now."

Yeah, don't rub it in.

"Yeah, yeah, that's right! It's fucking ridiculous, they really think we're gonna believe that?!"

He's an old hand at being trapped somewhere unsettling by now, but being told his world has been destroyed...that's a different story entirely. He just can't accept it no matter what. After his punishment it doesn't matter so much for his own sake, he certainly can't go anywhere anyway, if that really happened. But, the gang and his classmates...he was the one who was being put to death it's not fair if they die and he somehow lives. Therefore it just can't be true.

Rub, rub, rub- kidding.

"If I had to guess? More than likely, but we still don't."

He sighs, and it doesn't take any effort to remain calm even in the presence of someone who ~~uses far too many hair products~~ reminds him of someone. The note couldn't be true; it was simply childish to believe it without finding out more. If anything, it sounded more like an excuse for the administrators who saw over this place to do whatever they wanted to the 'refugees.'

"...Yu Narukami. Sorry you got pulled into this tower, too."

Had Yu known that - what Mondo was thinking - he would have agreed wholeheartedly. Ignorance was bliss in some aspects...

He gives a bit of a grunt. "Mondo Oowada. ...Nice to meet you."

As he speaks he goes around his bed to Yu and stretches out a hand to offer a handshake. He figures you can't trust someone until you've shaken their hand.

"So they always treat people this shitty then, huh? Sorry 'bout you too."
