Summary: The power's gone out, so Ven's starting a bonfire.
Warnings: Magical fire and possibly singing TBA

Ven had only been in the tower for a little while and already something was going on. He didn't exactly understand what was going on, only that it was dark and creepy, and that none of the lights were working. Except in the rooms, but those emergency lights were almost creepier than the darkness.

He had managed to gather up some flammable materials into a pile at the end of the hallway, and with a quick "Fire!" the flames were burning and there was at least some light. And a source of heat! Thus he sat against the wall making sure the fire didn't go out, blissfully unaware of any creepy crawlies.

That I do! It's brilliant. My taste buds are a bit...funny this time around. Much weirder than last time. I'm terribly picky. I don't even like apples anymore. Those used to be my favorite. Alas.

[No icecream what is this. This is a problem that must be fixed.] Well, if they don't normally have ice cream, maybe we can make some when the powers fixed and try it with custard.

Regenerated. I'm a Time Lord, ou see, and Time Lords don't die. We regenerate. I get a new face, new body, new personality, and this time [he adjusts his bowtie] a cool bowtie. I glow a bit and hirts a little, but that's the basic idea.

I'm sure Miss Maple would love to help us. She's blonde, very sweet, and wears glasses, if you're looking for her.

...aside from everything freezing, wordthieves, and those weird monsters, I don't think there was any magic. [Even while being messed with by obviously-magical forces in his own home, he still has a hard time believing in magic.]

I've gone on adventures with my friends, sort of. We investigate a lot of weird things.

After we get out of here, you are both free to come on an adventure with me. How's that? One bona-fied, Doctor adventure. Free of charge.

'Course the first stop will be Roxas' home. I have a few monsters to deal with there.

Monsters? [Oh right, he recalled them mentioning that a bit.] I can give you a hand with the monsters when we stop if you need. That way we can get it done faster and start the adventure!

Your friends can come along, if you like. There's plenty of room in the TARDIS. Of course, you don't have to come, if you don't want to. It's your decision.

As for monsters, I'll let you two in on a secret.

...Wow, really?! [His voice raised a bit in amazement (no skepticism there), but he lowered it down to a whisper as seemed to be appropriate.] Yeah, how come? Is it because of your own magic?
