(01 ☀ Open) A disturbance in the Force
Characters: Obi-Wan Kenobi and YOU c:
Setting: Dormitory floor 2, morning-ish
Format: Action brackets
Summary: Obi-Wan deals with (the seeming) destruction of his universe AKA Jedi Trauma Time
Warnings: No warnings (as of yet???)
Just outside his room (dormitory floor two)
[There's something wrong about this place. Very wrong.
This is the only explanation that Obi-Wan can begin to pull together in the face of what feels like the complete and utter destruction of his entire universe.
At first, the gaping sense of nothing in the Force is almost too much to bear. There is no physical pain, and yet the sensation of losing the connection to his universe is so much more than any of the injuries he's ever experienced. It's as though the world itself has fallen out from under his feet and left him stumbling and disoriented. Suddenly winded, the Jedi shoots out a hand to catch himself on the door frame leading into his dormitory room, barely managing to keep himself from sinking to his knees.
It takes a few moments for Obi-Wan to catch his breath, but eventually he rights himself and shifts away from door frame. Unimaginable loss pulses through him as he struggles out into the hallway. Once outside, he closes his eyes and reaches through the Tower's Force presence to prove to himself that there is, indeed, a floor under his feet and that everything isn't as utterly and completely gone as it feels.
To his great relief, he immediately feels Force energy leaping out at him from the Tower's very walls. Energies of the many beings in the tower swirl about, and through him. Reconnecting him. He breathes in again and exhales smoothly, letting the life all around him fill him with strength.
When the dizziness finally fades, he opens his eyes again and takes in the hallway ahead of him.
What he feels seems impossible ––should be impossible–– which is, happily, usually the sign that one has encountered a phenomenon in the Force. He's fallen into memories during meditation and been deceived by the Force before, so why not now?
He can only hope.
Because the alternative is too terrible to even begin to conceive of.]
[ooc: Ohhh gosh I haven't written a log in forever. Apologies in advance if this is awful and vague. x_x]

[A beat.]
...That certainly is unusual, and frankly makes this place sound like something of a prison. [He frowns softly.] Are people here not permitted outside this ––tower, was it?

[Tetra shrugs with her hands up a bit.]
If we are allowed, nobody can find the way out. There's a floor here without a wall around it but you'll just die if you jump out.
no subject
Well that's... jarring.

[Grumpy child alert!]

[That someone had died and returned to life is strange, to say the least, but given the uniqueness of nearly everything about the tower it's hard to be too surprised.]
You make it sound as though people here die rather often–– is that true?
no subject
This tower really sucks. And so does the food. You had the oatmeal yet?
no subject
...Your ancestors are here?
[Calling it 'the oatmeal' makes it sound a little ominous, in this Jedi's humble opinion.]
I haven't, no. [A rueful smile.] I'm afraid all I've managed to do since waking up is develop a headache and stumble into your path.
no subject
[It should. It really should.]
Ya gotta eat it before ya eat anything else. Unless ya wanna puke.
[Goddesses, she is so blunt.]
Sorry ya ain't feelin' great. You'll wanna wait to eat then.
