Summary: Ryoji has just woken up into a tower that's not working and is wandering in confusion.

Room 4-18 and Dormitory Area

[ Once Ryoji has woken up, read his letters and gotten his bearings, he'll be wandering aimlessly through the dorms, looking for other people. He seems a little troubled, but overall he appears more curious than worried. Still riding on the high of events just prior to his showing up here, Ryoji just can't believe the world that was just saved before his eyes could be destroyed just like that - especially without him knowing!

Since the dorms seem to be one of the few places with lights on at present, there are bound to be people here right? No matter who you are or how scary you seem, Ryoji doesn't seem to be afraid to come up to you to say hello! ]


Floor 1

[ Of course, Ryoji doesn't stay in the living quarters all day. There's a whole tower to explore! And this one doesn't have nearly as many floors (it seems) as the one he just came from. The first place he starts poking around after the dorms is the cafeteria. Even if it's dark, he seems to be able to find his way pretty well, though the oatmeal seems to have him confused.

Instead of eating the oatmeal, Ryoji spends a while playing with it. This batch seems pretty sticky, so he's trying to make a snowoatmealman out of it... Maybe you should advise him of its actual purpose... ]

Floors 4, 6, 10, 13 or 25

[ Each of these floors contains either a view of the outside of the tower or else some sort of scenery Ryoji has never actually seen in person before, so he lingers in these places, exploring a little. The cathedral puzzles him (where is that murmuring coming from, anyway?), but the aquarium and the meadow in particular fascinate him - and he stares in open-mouthed, grinning glee at all the pretty colorful fishies and oh wow, so many flowers! He's never seen so may flowers, not even in a flower shop!

... it's probably really obvious he's new, isn't it. Well, hopefully he doesn't get eaten by a fish on his first day or two. ]

[The bright light of a flashlight illuminates the room as Naoya steps in. He's come for a run of oatmeal; not for himself, but rather for others who might need it, considering how dangerous all of the floors are becoming and...

...what is this guy doing? And why is he getting a strange vibe from him...something oddly familiar like he's almost met him before...are you trying to say something, Amon-Ra?]

You're supposed to eat it.

[Thankfully Naoya is the type to tell you EXACTLY like it is and not dance around it.]

[ Having been very deeply concentrated on his oatmeal creations, Ryoji is paying absolutely no attention to what's going on around him, so the flash of the light startles him. He blinks, squinting as his eyes adjust, though he manages a friendly - if confused - smile. Used to Persona users as he is, it doesn't strike him at all out of place that this person reminds Ryoji of S.E.E.S. ]

Oh, hello! It's nice to finally see someone with a light. [ It is completely not suspicious that Ryoji was sculpting in the dark. Nope. But he looks back at his gooey, tilted structure in the bowl. ] What -- is it?

[He puts the light on the table, making his face dance a little before looking around to make sure no monster was hiding nearby. Suspicious indeed and coupled with that all too familiar feeling ...for now, he ignores it, making an eating motion with his hands. He's polite like that.]

You eat it.

[And then with that done and as if this was the most casual thing to go from one subject to another...]

[A field of flowers at night could potentially be dangerous. However when you were the Demi-Fiend, you didn't quite have that problem. What little time he could save to relax, he was taking.

With him, three demonic friends; Pixie who was snoring rather loudly on his shoulder, Cerberus which was acting as a leaning stool for both the half-demon, its it's front foot twitching once in a while as it slept and...this lovely visage. The Night Queen was talking to Naoki, the black feathers of her coat moving in the wind, although where that wind came from was anyone guess.]

...now if you watch closely, Hitoshura, the Casablanca Lilies will bloom quite soon...

[It seemed the member of the Night Race was teaching him...about flowers?]

[Hello roomie.

There is another guy in here, who is apparently your roommate, and looking through his trunk at the end of his bed.

You should inconvenience him say hello!]

[Instead of correcting how the oatmeal's supposed to be used, Mark's impressed by the craftsmanship you have. Kind of.]

Hahaha, that looks like a snow man, except in oatmeal.

Floor 4

[The aquarium seems even more ominous right now. With the blackout and the monsters prowling around, Minato's cautious as he walks through this floor. The tip of his sword sometimes touch the water, idly, before he draws it back.

...? That person looks familiar.]

Ryoji?

[He's mistaking him for the other Ryoji, the one who's his brother in another world.]

[ Ryoji looks back down at his oatmeal man a little dubiously, though the doubt is coupled with new curiosity. ]

Really?

[ The follow-up question, however, gets Ryoji looking up at Naoya again, his smile fading as he starts to pay a little more attention. ] A demon? ... No. [ He laughs a little sheepishly and looks at the oatmeal as is slumps still further back into the bowl. ] ... I'm a Shadow, so I guess that's pretty close, though.

[ Oh that voice! Ryoji recognizes that voice right away and spins about (scarf twirling along behind) to face Minato, stepping a little away from the water and lifting his arm up to wave. ]

Minato! [ He grins. ] I'm so glad to see you, again. I knew the world couldn't possibly have ended just like that.

Oh, hello!

[ Ryoji looks up from his creation to beam at Mark. ]

Is that what this stuff is called? ... oatmeal. Heh. It's so goopy! [ He laughs and pokes at it again with the spoon. ] It's just perfect when you don't have snow, though.

[ And that's exactly what Ryoji does. With the letters read, he watches Link for exactly there quarters of a second before deciding that clearly they need to get to know each other. ]

Good morning! Or afternoon? ... Evening? It's kind of hard to tell...

Anyway, I guess you must be new here, too! My name's Ryoji Mochizuki. [ And then Ryoji pauses, waiting for any sort of response. Ryoji does stand up, at least. And he takes a moment to readjust his scarf. When they put the collar on, they knocked it all askew! ]

[Hmm? Oh...interesting clothes he's got. He seems nice, though, and Link nods to him while going back to the trunk.]

Hey. I'm Link. [Just...Link. That's all. Ah, looks like he found what he was looking for! He reaches inside and takes out a sword already in its scabbard.

...A sword that looks too big to fit in there normally. Huh.]

[Weirdly enough, Naoya doesn't seem to break away, but just grins, nodding.]

A Shadow..that makes sense. I felt a strange aura about you but it wasn't like a Persona. It explains why Amon-Ra's been acting strange...

[A pause, as he rubs his chin. Clearly if he's a Shadow but he's here, it means he is definitely unique. Hopefully unique enough to..]

[ This place is new and strange, and somehow there's something exciting about finding a whole field of flowers in a building. Ryoji is pretty certain he's never actually seen so many flowers in one place, so he stares and smiles as he wanders about. At first he doesn't really notice the strong demonic presence, but gradually he begins to pick up on it - and one in particular that feels really familiar somehow. It's almost like deja vu, except that Ryoji can tell the difference between shadows and demons, even if he's wholly unfamiliar with the latter...

So of course, his curiosity is piqued, and over he comes. But hearing that the conversation seems to be about flowers, he can't help but gasp out: ] Wow, you know what all of these are?

[That reaction? Told him enough. This Ryoji just arrived to the tower. Does that mean this Ryoji isn't his brother in another world, but a grown up version of Pharos?]

I'm glad to see you too. You just arrived earlier?

[ Assuming that there's probably nothing in his own trunk, Ryoji comes over to peer over Link's shoulder ]

Is that your sword? That looks really neat. It's pretty amazing all the different ways swords can look.

Amon-Ra..? [ But then Ryoji smiles again and nods. ]

My name is Ryoji Mochizuki. What's yours?

[ Well - he's glad this fellow doesn't seem immediately upset! ... yet ]

Yep! This -- morning? I guess? It's kind of hard to tell time in this place.

But I've been exploring! There are so many interesting floors here... Like this one!

[Whoa, hi there. Getting all up in his personal space, ain't ya?

Oh well. At least he seemed interested in it, and that was always a plus in his mind. Very gently, like he's handling a baby animal, he grips the hilt and unsheathes the sword a little. It seems like it has a beautiful, unearthly glow, almost like moonlight.]

[He nods again, confirming.] Amon-Ra. He's one of my Personas, given to me by my other self...

[As Ryoji heads down one of the dorm corridors, there's a figure in the darkness, half-illuminated by a flashlight shining on a zombie.]

More of them...

[There's a blue glow, but no bang, and Thanatos appears, casting a Hamaon and banishing the zombie.]

[... Something's wrong. Ryoji slowly turns, looking behind him. He swings the flashlight around and -]

[... Oh. He smiles a little at... well. The other him.]

[ Well, that -- that had been a really strange and interesting sight. Ryoji has seen Minato use the Persona that is a reflection of him before - on top of Tartarus, at the end - but that's not Minato, even though it feels pretty similarly to him, and -- was that a zombie? Well, it's not a zombie anymore. It's gone, and as Ryoji's stepping closer to try and see who this person is, there's suddenly a flashlight pointed at him, and Ryoji flinches back slightly, putting up a hand to partially block the light while his eye adjust.

But, when he gets a better look, Ryoji's eyes widen, and he stares for a moment before smiling back. ]

Hello. I must admit, this is a little weird.

[ Leon is just idly wandering around through the hallways a little, really - he doesn't want to sit still, but on the other hand he doesn't want to particularly have to deal with the horrors of the tower either, so he's just indecisively pacing back and forth, trying to think of something to occupy himself with before he goes crazy before of boredom.

That's when he notices the other boy, really, and he'll take any distraction by now. So have Leon quickly strolling up to you, Ryoji. ]

Yo! What're you doing around here?

[ Personal space is for other people.

But Ryoji's eyes widen at the glow, and he smiles, for it is very beautiful. ]

Nope! I just think swords are interesting. How does it glow? Do you know?

oh good I thought this was super late, not TOO bad

[Mondo's trudging around the tower, still hoping maybe there's food somewhere? Okay it's a lost cause by now, most likely, but it's not like he has anything to do anyway... What it is good for is getting him pissed off, so, he has his hands stuck in his pockets, looking down while he mutters and...walks right into Ryoji.]
