Summary: Ryoji has just woken up into a tower that's not working and is wandering in confusion.

Room 4-18 and Dormitory Area

[ Once Ryoji has woken up, read his letters and gotten his bearings, he'll be wandering aimlessly through the dorms, looking for other people. He seems a little troubled, but overall he appears more curious than worried. Still riding on the high of events just prior to his showing up here, Ryoji just can't believe the world that was just saved before his eyes could be destroyed just like that - especially without him knowing!

Since the dorms seem to be one of the few places with lights on at present, there are bound to be people here right? No matter who you are or how scary you seem, Ryoji doesn't seem to be afraid to come up to you to say hello! ]


Floor 1

[ Of course, Ryoji doesn't stay in the living quarters all day. There's a whole tower to explore! And this one doesn't have nearly as many floors (it seems) as the one he just came from. The first place he starts poking around after the dorms is the cafeteria. Even if it's dark, he seems to be able to find his way pretty well, though the oatmeal seems to have him confused.

Instead of eating the oatmeal, Ryoji spends a while playing with it. This batch seems pretty sticky, so he's trying to make a snowoatmealman out of it... Maybe you should advise him of its actual purpose... ]

Floors 4, 6, 10, 13 or 25

[ Each of these floors contains either a view of the outside of the tower or else some sort of scenery Ryoji has never actually seen in person before, so he lingers in these places, exploring a little. The cathedral puzzles him (where is that murmuring coming from, anyway?), but the aquarium and the meadow in particular fascinate him - and he stares in open-mouthed, grinning glee at all the pretty colorful fishies and oh wow, so many flowers! He's never seen so may flowers, not even in a flower shop!

... it's probably really obvious he's new, isn't it. Well, hopefully he doesn't get eaten by a fish on his first day or two. ]

[ Is there somewhere else you want to corner Ryoji? The library maybe, or as you're chasing down or running from a monster? Feel free to bring that up, instead. ]

[Hmm? Oh...interesting clothes he's got. He seems nice, though, and Link nods to him while going back to the trunk.]

Hey. I'm Link. [Just...Link. That's all. Ah, looks like he found what he was looking for! He reaches inside and takes out a sword already in its scabbard.

...A sword that looks too big to fit in there normally. Huh.]

[ Assuming that there's probably nothing in his own trunk, Ryoji comes over to peer over Link's shoulder ]

Is that your sword? That looks really neat. It's pretty amazing all the different ways swords can look.

[Whoa, hi there. Getting all up in his personal space, ain't ya?

Oh well. At least he seemed interested in it, and that was always a plus in his mind. Very gently, like he's handling a baby animal, he grips the hilt and unsheathes the sword a little. It seems like it has a beautiful, unearthly glow, almost like moonlight.]

Sure is. You into smithing?

[ Personal space is for other people.

But Ryoji's eyes widen at the glow, and he smiles, for it is very beautiful. ]

Nope! I just think swords are interesting. How does it glow? Do you know?

[He doesn't know much, but at least he knows the basics of it.]

It's special. [And, just as carefully, he sheathes it again.]

Y'know, blessed. [Literally blessed.]

Oh, I see! I'm glad it came with you, then. It seems very special.

[ Well, now that it's sheathed, Ryoji will give Link a little more breathing space, as he starts looking around the rest of their dorm a bit. ]

[He nods and reaches into the trunk again, seeing what else is in here. ...Aha, here's the shield, it'd be awful if he didn't have that, so he might as well bring it with him too! Uh...

...Lantern...couple of bottles...

When he brings out his bow and arrows, this starts to look a little ridiculous. How did all of that even fit in that trunk??]

Wow! It looks like you're prepared for everything! [ Ryoji's kept on looking over at Link, in between looking at the tower guide and wandering over to his own trunk. ]

I bet there's nothing even half as useful in my trunk... [ The letter says he'll find his possessions in the trunk, but Ryoji is pretty sure he doesn't have any, though he hasn't bothered to check. ]

Not really, I just found 'em and they kind of built up...

[He also has this Thing about not tossing anything he finds, but shhh.]

You never know...might as well check and see, right?

Well, then you must have found everything, then.

[ He laughs before looking over at his trunk and shrugging. ]

I suppose... [ And ah well, he goes over and pops it open. And then he kind of stares. ] Woah - I do actually have things in here!

But oh... it's all -- ... none of it's really mine. Huh.

[ It is full of Random Drops and Random Treasures from the one and only dungeon in his game. How exciting!

[Like seriously, not a damn thing in the trunk is yours? Nothing?]

Oh -- I guess the uniform coat is mine, though I never actually wore it.. [ he amends as he pulls it out and, after a moment of looking at it, tosses it on his bed. ]

But I dunno... I guess is a little weird. I don't really have that many possessions anyway, so maybe they just decided to fill up the trunk with whatever they could find?
