[should have known I'd feel colder when I walk alone]
Characters: Rin Okumura and anyone else~
Setting: Spending some time at the Cathedral before heading off to explore Floor 14 (backdated to June 11!)
Format: Whichever is most comfortable~. I'll go with the flow~
Summary: The Tower’s conditions might be getting to him, but he wasn’t going to let it beat him.
Warnings: none at the moment
Cathedral
Time and again Rin finds himself in the cathedral. It wasn’t because he felt any spiritual need to surround himself with the sound of invisible worshippers. It was natural to go someplace comfortable, right? And since he had yet to find a five-story high stool to sit upon, a quiet cathedral was second best. There was a familiar atmosphere about it that reminded him of the home he had.
He took a seat in a pew far from the ominous whispers and breathed in the stale, warm air. He was getting annoyed with the constant fighting, the hunger, the hopelessness that just seem a part of the Tower's everyday experience. At least the Cathedral was some form of sanctuary, as eerie as it was.
Floor 14
It was almost like a poorly written horror movie plot: haunted media room in a powerless tower. Rin had found the media room, but since there wasn’t any power anyway there was no way to enjoy it. Pity. It would have livened up the place a bit. At least the furniture was comfortable for short naps. Yet, as he walked further into the room, he could have sworn he saw something move in the shadows… Just in case, he kept his sword in hand. He didn’t want to be taken by surprise.

We're just here for our own personal business. It's the only floor we know that still has power, after all.
[They'll be out as soon as they can recharge a couple of personal items. They didn't really have the same type of sentimental feeling for this place. If anything, the Cathedral was more of a reminder of losing a comrade on a mission to Soma.]
