[She frowns, both pensive and sympathetic for the boy's plight. Such a sweet and gentle child shouldn't be here at all.

They still need to discuss their situation, but perhaps, at the very least, she can steer it away from the more gruesome aspects of it.]

Then... let us think about what they are doing now. This week's challenges do not seem as obvious as last week's, but perhaps we can still figure them out given what has changed in our accommodations.

[It was harder when they didn't know. Last week from the added equiptment and the note it had been easy to guess and do things right. But now they had nothing...]

Maybe... they want to know how we stop ourselves being bored... [He remembered his grandma; not really his grandma but he had thought of her that way for a long time, complaining once about how children used to have to make their own fun, not play with games that were already made for them.]

Another test on stability, perhaps? They might expect us to grow irritated with each other after an extended period of time spent without something obvious to occupy ourselves with...
