oh god not the bread

Characters: Minato and anyone!
Setting: Dorm floors
Format: Starting in brackets, will match
Summary: Minato found two loaves of bread! Unfortunately, hellhounds are on the loose.
Warnings: Eventual hellhounds related violence. Hopefully no bread burning.

[It’s a pleasant surprise when he found the two loaves of bread. Despite his hunger, he picks them up carefully and holds them in one arm. With his free hand, he breaks a small piece and has a taste test.

So far, it’s safe. That means he can share the bread with the others.

But he have to find them first, and without using the network to send a message. Using both of his arms to carry the bread loaves, he quickly makes his way to his dorm room. He needs a moment to ready himself before finding anyone else.

Grrrr…

The sound of growling. He slows down and carefully looks around for the source. A monster? That would mean fighting them off without damaging the bread.

Grrrr...

The hellhounds move, until they see...no, smell him and make their moves. Minato turns and make a run for it.

[Saber had been doing a damn good job of keeping the monsters at bay despite her condition. Ever since she returned from.... there.... she hadn't spoken to anyone, hadn't socialized at all. How could she after burying Rin and Shirou? After searching all of Fuyuki to find everything from the people to the trees to even the bugs dead? There were no birds in the sky, no life of any sort to be found. She could not even feel her connection to the Throne of Heroes, it being just as dead as everything else and her inexplicably left alive somehow.

She hated to admit it was a relief to return to the Tower, to return to where there was some semblance of the living, to where the noises made were more than wind and the flow of water and nothing else. The only distraction she had was to take it out on the monsters here, roaming the powered down tower in hoards. She felt herself growing weaker as time past, found she didn't care as long as she hid from the ache of her world being utterly devoid of life.

After a not-quite-restful sleep she left to patrol again, only to find a boy with blue hair zipping past her and--what were those beasts? Instantly, she went into a low stance, her armor appearing around her and Excalibur sheathed in Invisible Wind in her hands.]

Go! I'll cover you!

[She refused to let another person die on her watch.]
