oh god not the bread
Characters: Minato and anyone!
Setting: Dorm floors
Format: Starting in brackets, will match
Summary: Minato found two loaves of bread! Unfortunately, hellhounds are on the loose.
Warnings: Eventual hellhounds related violence. Hopefully no bread burning.
[It’s a pleasant surprise when he found the two loaves of bread. Despite his hunger, he picks them up carefully and holds them in one arm. With his free hand, he breaks a small piece and has a taste test.
So far, it’s safe. That means he can share the bread with the others.
But he have to find them first, and without using the network to send a message. Using both of his arms to carry the bread loaves, he quickly makes his way to his dorm room. He needs a moment to ready himself before finding anyone else.
Grrrr…
The sound of growling. He slows down and carefully looks around for the source. A monster? That would mean fighting them off without damaging the bread.
Grrrr...
The hellhounds move, until they see...no, smell him and make their moves. Minato turns and make a run for it.]

She hated to admit it was a relief to return to the Tower, to return to where there was some semblance of the living, to where the noises made were more than wind and the flow of water and nothing else. The only distraction she had was to take it out on the monsters here, roaming the powered down tower in hoards. She felt herself growing weaker as time past, found she didn't care as long as she hid from the ache of her world being utterly devoid of life.
After a not-quite-restful sleep she left to patrol again, only to find a boy with blue hair zipping past her and--what were those beasts? Instantly, she went into a low stance, her armor appearing around her and Excalibur sheathed in Invisible Wind in her hands.]
Go! I'll cover you!
[She refused to let another person die on her watch.]

When he notice he ran past someone, Minato pause and quickly looks behind him, to warn the person about the hellhounds. But her appearance, even if all he see is her back, told him enough.
This woman is a warrior.]
Just be careful!
[He would run, but a part of him hesitates. He get to run away free in exchange for someone's safety.
Just when he think of that, one of the monsters starts running toward the female warrior.]

Of course he didn't have much chance of fighting beings completely made of fire, indeed he hadn't been able to the day before but he relied on his Geass to keep him alive and used himself as a distraction more than anything.
He hadn't seen Minato since he had been sent back to the tower, but he was glad that this Minato seemed alright; monsters aside.]

[Suzaku's voice caught his attention, and once again stops to look behind him at the other boy.]
Be careful!
[He doesn't know about the Geass, so naturally, the young SEES leader worries for the other boy.]

[He shouts back without taking his eyes off the fire dogs] Keep running, get outside, the rain destroys them.
[The only problem was the distance between here and the first outdoor floor, but he and Enoch had managed it the day before.]

Make sure to follow behind.

[With that, she darts back inside. Should Minato follow, he'll find himself in one of the restrooms. Tara seems to have managed to get one of the shower heads detached, and is waiting in front of the door with it held out in front of her like a gun.]
no subject
He quickly looks behind him, hearing the hellhounds' running after him. It wasn't long until they appear at the door, right in front of Tara.
He reacts quickly, trying to move the loaves to one arm and drawing his evoker with his free hand.]
no subject
But that only means that the hellhound charges straight into her next jet of water as she turns the shower head on high pressure. It howls in pain and rage, and steam rises as the heat of the flames meets the water. But it backs away.]
Y-You okay? [Tara risks a sidelong glance at Minato, and her eyes widen at the sight of the evoker. She falters, apparently genuinely fearful at the sight of it, and the jet of water falters with her.]
no subject
[He stare down at the hellhound, daring it to move forward if it dares. His evoker isn't pointing at his head yet.]
But thank you for your help.

[He knows how his summoning method would look. That's why he speaks calmly after a brief pause.]
...Don't worry about what I'm going to do.
[He says, before pointing the "gun" at his head and pull the trigger. Bang.
Instead of death, a beautiful woman in pink appears in front of Minato. While clutching the lotus, she wave her hand gracefully and cast an ice spell at the hellhound.]

Naoki stands with his bloodied hand still dripping, looking at the other monsters like he wants them to come at him. As the days go by, his powers have become stronger, but he's also running more and more on demonic-like pure instinct which means...an abnormal urge to fight.
Thankfully the tower is giving him plenty of that...]

Therefore...]
Can you keep them away from me long enough?

Only Demi has a lot of fire coming out of his hands and his mouth while he's doing it, but the result is the same. Eliminate the threat.
The smell. The smell of the freshly roasted hounds of hell isn't good for the senses, really. It's like burnt tire mixed with wet dog and sulfur.
At least Demi seems to be enjoying himself, like a 8 year old gleefully tearing off the legs of a spider. Don't worry he'll probably regret it later when things returned to normal.
...probably.]

But he stay at a distance and shift the bread loaves onto one arm. With his free hand, he draw out his Evoker and feel the familiar gunpoint at his temple.]
Throne!
[The bound angel appears in front of Minato, moving forward close enough to the battle. Then, it cast Mabufula on the distracted hellhounds.
An opening.]
no subject
The hellhounds, however. Oh. OUCH.]
no subject
Throne keep casting Mabufula at Minato's command. He watches the hellhounds, studying their movements to see how weak they get.]

[ Ryoji heard the growling and has come to investigate only to see Minato sprinting away from several snarling beasts, clutching something. Of course, the warning shout is probably completely useless, since Minato is already running, but then Ryoji starts moving too, ducking around his friend and then stepping into the middle of the hall. ]
I'll hold them off--
no subject
[Even if he knows Ryoji is a Shadow and is fairly powerful, Minato still grows worried.]
Be careful! ['Don't get hurt, please.']
no subject
[ He doesn't afraid of hellhounds!
At first, Ryoji simply makes use of the same ability he used to defend himself from Aigis on the Moonlight Bridge that still lies in Minato's future, holding them off, but they're not personas - they're flesh and blood. So it may very well be that he'll have to resort to other measures. ]
no subject
[Well, that ability seems to be working alright. Because of that, their attention shifted over to Ryoji, their body of flames flickering before they leap.
Meanwhile, Minato try to resist the urge to look back as he run. He have to place his trust in Ryoji. Ryoji won't fail him, that's what a part of him is saying.]
